Hello everyone,

I'm going to try, I think every Sunday, to post links to games that will be released the following week and that I think are interesting and original.

The goal here isn't to put up AAA games, but rather less "popular" ones, so that you can, i hope, discover some nuggets each week.
If I'm lucky enough to received the game from the publisher, I'll add the link to my video to show you a bit of the gameplay.

I can also miss some nice games, so don't hesitate to share the ones that attract you the most ;)

I'm adding a poll to the topic to see if many of you are interested.
Be honest, if it doesn't interest many people, don't let me do this for nothing :)

I hope you enjoy this topic, and I'll start right away with next week's games, to be followed in the replies below.

Have Fun!

Manor Lords and Bellwright releasing at the same time is pretty crazy.

Thanks Tucs!

Sure enough, like every game with high expectations, DI2 is getting destroyed in Steam reviews. Shocker.

Rotwood looks pretty cool.

I played the demo of Indika during Nextfest and wow is that a creepy creepy game! Nicely done, although you kinda wish that nun had more warrior in her xD

Denizen looks like a cross between the Sims and Second Life. Not sure if that's a good thing or not but I'll bite.

Creepy and Strange yeah... totally strange xD
The visuals and atmosphere are excellent, but the gameplay is, in my opinion, less polished.

That's how the demo felt, indeed. I think a good narrative and atmosphere are important in a game but it shouldn't come at the cost of gameplay. Otherwise, you're just watching a movie.

I didn't find the gameplay catastrophic, but I did experience a few strange bugs (like walking on a chair on the ground that causes me to fly 10m into the air and die when I fall).
I totally agree, in fact in a narrative game the gameplay is almost important because every bug that doesn't move smoothly breaks the atmosphere and therefore breaks the most important element of the game.

I've played for the moment an hour (the beginning of the game is not the content of the demo which starts right after), for the moment I've decided not to play more, I'd rather wait for some corrections and adjustments to try to enjoy the rest of the game as much as possible. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the team will make some fixes soon.

Indie games sometimes are better to play after a while so they can fix things. Hopefully they will.

Denizen needs a lot of work, I guess I will check it out in a year or two.

There's no way I'm going to buy the 3rd "Farm Manager" game, right? When I already own the first two and barely play them? Must... be... strong...

One I'm currently excited for:
(EA) Cyber Manhunt 2: New World

Discover a digital realm shrouded in mystery in Cyber Manhunt 2: New World. Sequel to the award-winning narrative puzzle game. Play as an AI assistant in a major corporation. Deploy intricate social engineering tactics and expose hidden truths in a world of ambition and high-tech deception.

It's a lot like Orwell and I really liked the first game and DLC and the demo was great. A couple QoL upgrades I'm excited for and a continuation of the previous story.

As long as Ubisoft owns the IP, it'll be around. At least this one looks like a decent reboot unlike the Ubisoft game they're trying to sell for an insane amount.
