Hello,

Steam Library Manager (SLM) is a tool created to manage your Steam Libraries in ease of use. With SLM you can manage all of your Steam and Backup libraries from one place. All you have to do is creating a new library and dropping the game on it. SLM is licensed under MIT license which makes it completely free and 100% open source!

SLM is still under development so might be buggy, no warranty is given for SLM, even i am doing my best to prevent bugs and data loss; it might happen, use in caution!

All suggestions are welcome and will help further development of SLM.

More details can be found at Steam

I've been using Steam Mover for ages, which is doing exactly the same.

But your version seems to be easier to understand with those labelled buttons to click on. :)

The difference between SLM and Steam Mover is SLM based on steam libraries while Steam Mover is based on selected paths. With SLM you can edit multiple libraries and have multiple libraries at one time.

So it is not exactly same, thanks for understanding and your comment. :)

Also SLM is going to feature backup library/game etc which steam's backup system is not working most of the time for my friends. (Ex: ArmA 2)

I have just released more bug fixes, and now we can move game files between steam libraries that still needs to be downloaded / installed fully. Also SLM will move all patch / downloaded files too while moving games between libraries.

In this case Resident Evil 5 is still not downloaded & installed.

Oh well, seems like you are using C#. If it was Java I could give you a little hand. But looks like a nice project! Keep up the good work!

I appreciate your support! Java and C# pretty similar languages IMO so i bet you could learn and code in C# easily :P

Yes, you are right, they are pretty much the same, with minor differences. As soon as I have free time I'll start learning C# and if I succeed, I'll get in touch with you, or just make a pull request. :)

Hello again!

After a long break i've found some time to improve SLM as design and functionality, now we can have backup directories, using different way to store application settings and design improvements. You can find the binary and source in Github as always.

Bit defender quarantined the executables. Could be a false positive but eh, not gonna risk it.

As you say it was false positive, i've updated the program and removed the icon already until find a solution to Bitdefender based anti-virus programs.

You can also compile the source yourself but as Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 user i can clearly say there is no warning or blocking cames with latest release i've updated yesterday (commit #14)

I'm sorry for the situation, the icon i've found for program looks very nice and fits as license but whenever i add an app icon to program Bitdefender gets mad, i will get in touch with them asap.
From there you can see what changes made Bitdefender do not think it is virus, ApplicationIcon clearly as you can test it locally.

We managed out the things with Bitdefender team, now it doesn't find false positive anymore so i added the app icon back. I will going to implement an auto-update feature soon.

Further improvements, now SLM also moves game's workshop files. I've just moved ArmA 3 and GTA V to another disk with SLM which is a preparation for upcoming Windows 10 :P

BTW, I am still looking for a better library icon alternative.
