Such a cute dog, am I right?
That's a shame. At least she lived a long life.
Dogs are great. Pic of my corgi: http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=a6BMdyuA%2FVygcbU81Wi6Yoh4l5k2TGxc

Aw, sweet! Indeed, dogs are great! And it's true, I'm more happy about the fact that she had at least three great years with us (who knows what her life was like before that) than I'm sad that she's gone. No one lives forever, after all.

Yeah it's tough. Do you have any other dogs? If you don't. Getting another dog could help you feel better.

We don't. Actually, it's a rather long story why we got her and basically we / I currently don't have that much time to care for another dog anyway, so that will have to wait a bit. But I'm definitely planning to get another pet, yes. Maybe a cat, maybe a dog, maybe both. We'll see.

Sounds like a cat would be good for you. If you have time constraints. Cats are pretty low maintenance pets.
Best of luck to you.

I know. It's just not possible currently because I'm still living with my family and my mom is allergic to every kind of fur, except dog fur. Thank you, though.

Sorry to hear! She seems like she was a great dog.
Thank you for the chances!

Usually I just blacklist if someone broke the rules. I don't really know why you ended up on that list though. I really should start a list with why I blacklisted people v_v Since I can't find out why I blacklisted you, feel free to enter.

Well, I've already talked with you about it on another thread, so there isn't much more I can add.
Have a big heart as bump, then.

Westies are great! Maybe I will get one again in a few years, who knows. :)

Aw :(
That's the only problem with pets, they live such a short live (15 years is already pretty good for a dog).
I've lost a few ones. I had to put one down earlier this year, that was much harder than the other ones.

Exactly, unfortunately that's true.
We've only had rabbits and hamsters until we got her and I think neither of them died a natural death except Kitty - she just went to sleep and didn't wake up. It really can be pretty rough, but sometimes you just got to do what's best for the animal.

Unfortunately I can't see the photos but dalmatians are such cool dogs. I've always wanted one since I was little.

Losing a pet really sucks. I'm going to have to go through that soon. My oldest dog, Harry doesn't have that long left. He has periods of bad leg pain and lost the ability to jump and runs really slow, but still tries to lead the pack. I have to turn his food too mush everyday because it hurts him to eat hard food. I'm jut glad that as he's just getting older and not sick. I took the death of my ferrets really bad, so i don't know how i'm gonna take it hen he passes.

Aw, I'm sorry! I really hope that he'll stay as healthy as an old dog can be before he passes. I also wish you a lot of strength already.
Due to the fact that our dog didn't have any back teeth anymore, we did the same for her, food-wise.

I know.
I also think it's good that it's "just" been three years that she has been with us, otherwise I think I wouldn't be able to deal with this the way I do now. I'm mostly just happy that she doesn't have to suffer now anymore (and I convince myself that being blind and deaf is suffering, to make it easier on myself, I guess.)

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. :( It's great you gave her such a good home, if it weren't for you, she might not have been adopted. This is a great book for people who like dogs or anyone who's lost a pet.

That's true! After all most people want a puppy and not an old, sick dog.

YOU MONSTER!
Nah, seriously.. I just didn't want negativety over here. People who don't think she was cute just don't have to vote, that's all ;)

We got her froM an animal shelter Back in August 2012, so she's been with us the past 3 years. Even though she was already 12 years old when we got her, she was still full of energy when you would Play with her. She was such a cute little ball of kindness.
She had a lot of pRoblems, though. Poor girl. She had an incredibly sensitive skin, a lot of her teeth had to be removed due to some kind of infection, she was almost blind and ran into stuff almost constantly. She also didn't hear very well anymore, or at least she never did when we called her. She was such a kind dog though. She never barked - except when she thought she saw someone in our garden (remember, bad eyesight), which happended 1, two.. three times. She would also always stay near you and follow you around the house, even though you just got up to get something to drinK for example.

Rest in peace, little fella. I will miss cuddling with you, Kitty.
Side note: Yeah, her name was Kitty - which is kind of a weird name for a dog but then again, we didn't give her that name, her first owner did.
If you made it until here, awesome. And honestly, I don't even want any sympathy, I just needed a thread to hide my giveaways in and this is literally the only thing that has happened recently and that I can tell you guys about. There are three gibs to find.
