/me rushes to the nearest newspaper shop...
Thanks for the heads up! :)

Very lowbrow, lurid language, and a lot of other arguments along that line... I'm not very political or interested in news, so I kinda ignore stuff like that... And if my colleagues leave a Bild lying around I sometimes leave through it and just think of it as a parody paper :)
I guess buying computer bild just feels bad cause it's sooooo simplistic and I did study computer science for, like, 10 years...

Bild is just the trademark of publisher Axel Springer with magazines that refer to it. As SilentGuy said there is no high level in their texts and writings. It is a bit frowned upon buying their magazines if you got a higher degree :)

There's nothing wrong with Computer Bild or Computer Bild Spiele, they're just normal magazines IMO.
Bild itself however is gutter press in the guise of a newspaper. However, it doesn't actually count as a newspaper because it doesn't present facts but mixes them with editorial content, hearsay etc.
Basically, the kind of people who work for the Bild are kind of people who go around with lynchmobs. As long as it creates sales anything goes.

Eh, that's what I entered, yeah... do you see a mistake or are you just awed by my rule? :)
The last part (&& pass_activated_rule && pass_multiple_rule && !VAC_economy_ban) says you should not be trade banned and should not have broken SG rules, the first part says that people with a maximum of 5 wins are always allowed, while everyone else should have a ratio above 0.2 and should have given at least 10% region free stuff and at least 10% outside of groups...
The ratio and percentages feel rather random, but I wanted t put something like this in there so I just went with some numbers from my gut...

this is what i see on the SGtools page)
also when i press rool checker i've got the following message:
"You account failed to pass custom rule: (num_won<=5 || (ratio_real > 0.2 && (real_sent_region_free/real_sent_cv) > 0.1 && (real_sent_group/real_sent_cv) < 0.9)) && pass_activated_rule && pass_multiple_rule && !VAC_economy_ban"
usually it works in a different way)

That's just the way it looks if you enter complicated rules... Guess you have not stumbled across that yet :)
And in your case it fails cause I made the rule that I want to see some GAs that I could in theory have entered, and 99.7% of your GAs were region locked

"Luckily" he was fair enough to mark the group GAs as locked too. I've come across several high level users who skip the lock on groups that completely consist of people from only one region, which makes it (falsely) appear as if they have 50%+ unlocked GAs when in reality 99% are locked.

I guess you could come over with a laptop, buy and activate it while here and then drive back? ;-) Not sure if the key lock is bound to store region of just physical location aka IP... I know I have some licenses marked as danish cause I bought a humble bundle while on holidays there... But that as before there was an explicit store location setting

Heh, I just proposed this :) And sadly I'm not certain...

It's already out in a CBS? oO
Wow, did they just make the game as filler material?

I don't think any print mazines about gaming sell particularly well.
I used to read Gamestar but canceled my subscription like 5 years ago.

Yeah, but generally your games appear in mags as last resorts to generate some income or as a marketing push for new products.
The fact it's in CBS at release is weird, maybe even disturbing. Wouldn't be the first german firm to suddenly go bankrupt. Maybe it's just light on content.

Awesome, my best friend's birthday is soon and she played all 3 Deponia games before and loved them. I was about to buy her a Steam gift but this is amazing!! Even though I hate the fact that I have to buy a Springer Verlag magazine as well..
Ach und wusste gar nicht, dass du auch 'von hier' bist? Kleine Welt!

Ohhh so that's why people are moving to Germany. I was wondering what was the cause of all the fuss in Europe.

The trick is pretend you're German! Dye your hair blonde, put some blue contact lenses on and profit!
People have too much time on their hands to hate. Lots of decent people there though but it takes only a few to ruin a party.

I THINK if the language choice is limited, there are different depots listed on steamdb.info and those are the same excecpt for the bonus content. But just triggered installation at home via remote desktop to check for you :)

So what? :P You know I'm not German. ^^ I'm from Denmark. I just live in Germany atm (well, and the past 1½ years but sshh)
Also if I would e.g. move to Spain, I wouldn't want to listen to the audio in Spanish. I want English. :P I love English. Also I played the other games in English so it would be weird to suddenly have it in German.

Suprisingly for a german game I found English voice acting better anyway. Granted I haven't finished them yet but Rufus has a kind of annoying voice in German.

Hmm any speculations how long it might take before there's a similar offer for that game elsewhere?
I am asking, because, even though I do live in Germany and may be able to get that magazine, I haven't
finished the other 3 Deponia games yet. So...while it's a good deal for a new game, I might as well wait until
I've managed to play the other titles, perhaps it's even cheaper by then, what do you think?

Damn. Bought 3 already. 1 for me, 2 for the people here, 1 GA already running....

Schould I do a bulk purchase? Anyone interested in buying :) ?

So, I just got the new Computer Bild Spiele (a crappy German pc games magazine) on my way to work 'cause it contains the new Deponia Doomsday :-o
It comes on a DVD, but there is a working Steam key as well. But it activates as Deponia Doomsday DE AT CH so according to SteamDB it seems to be region locked to Germany, Austria and Switzerland... Which means sadly I can't get another copy on my way home to give away. Also it's lacking a depot called "dd bonus" so there might be some bonus content missing.
I thought I'd post that as a PSA so that a) people in Germany know about a cheap way to get it for themselves and b) this might avoid people trading/giving away the key mistakenly...
Have some Richard & Alice (in a SGtools protected GA) for reading.
