A little question: How will you be handling points for giveaways when it comes to games like Life is Strange? It's an episodic game and as far as I'm aware, Steam and Steamgifts can't tell the difference between wishlisting just first the episode and the whole series. This happens for all episodic games on Steam. I'm using that game as the main example as that's the episodic game on the most wishlists as far as I can tell and shows up on 7055 wishlists.

Would the giveaway creator get full points for giving away just episode 1 which is simply listed as "Life is Strange" on Steamgifts and can be bought rather cheaply? The full season or episodes 2-5 which you can also buy separately aren't on any wishlists as result of the parculiar way Steam handles episodic games.

Sorry to bug you again, noticed a potential problem depending on how you will calculate the points. I just searched the S.Gifts group for a game and pressed refresh - it gave me two different numbers of how many wishlists the game was estimated to be on and there was a few hundred difference which I don't think can be accounted by people making adjustments to their wishlists on the course of a few seconds.

When calculating everyone's points could I suggest that you take the first instance of a game being given away and allocate the same amounbt of points for everyone who gave away that game? Otherwise people are going to end up with differing amount of points for giving away the same game.
