I can't think of anything to add to my steam wish list, so I want suggestions from you magnificent bastards. I have no preference, but I do have exclusions:

  1. No puzzles. I already have enough puzzling to do here. :P
  2. No anime. The anime me is dead and long gone. :3
  3. No horror. Reality is already a nightmare itself. :/
  4. No free to play. Just no.
  5. I will not accept any Assassin Creed or Roller Coaster Tycoon game suggestions.

Current wishlist(Jan 12)
-Assassins Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, III
-Roller Coaster Tycoon 3
-Subnautica
-Civilization V
-Deathtrap
-Total War: Warhammer
-Warshift
-Fallout 4

P(M)S: Participation will grant you white list permission to a future gibaway sometime between now and March 17th(St. Patty's Day)! The reward will be worth 20 USD! Lvl 0+!

★★Closed! Thank you for the suggestions; I added some games to my wishlist. Expect a new thread in Off Topic for the giveaway link in the future. I will look over the replies again and maybe add more games. ★★

Torchlight, a Diablo style hack and slash. Underrated imo.

+1, Although I had no idea it was underrated :O

Yeah, I don't see how it's underrated, it's pretty much the first Diablo-clone anyone recommends (maybe second to Path of Exile). It's overrated in my opinion (honestly, the whole genre is) and really. by my reckoning, Diablo lived and died by Blizzard's (once great) storytelling and cinematics, that added 'pop' to the series.

Not to say Hack n' Slash, Click-Frenzy ARPGs aren't a fun distraction, but I just don't think they rise that far above that distinction most of the time.

And of course, Torchlight 2, adding multiplayer and other features (:

In addition to goldsmit409 I would also suggest playing the first witcher game, which is also really great if you do not care too much about a incredibly bad combat system;)

I refunded the original Witcher cause the combat system is so cringey, lol. I played the Witcher 2 first so I am used to the sequel's combat system

Make sure to at least get the plot of the first game from the internet then, it is awesome! Also, helps a lot to understand where The Story of 2 and 3 roots:)

Are the maps randomly generated? Because I don't want to survive the same world again and again and again...

Nice concept, but it looks hard. May I also ask how the inventory is displayed? From the video I can see a categorized list. Is it like in Oblivion, with overcumber system?

Since you have sins of an solar empire, you might like Star Wars: Empire at War. It has a map similair like Sins, only the battles are fought like total war, so they have to load. And it has ground battles as well. Also there are some great mods to find for it. (on the side not, which game hasn't nowadays :P)

And if you like towerdefence with first person shooter elements in it, play Sanctum 1 and 2. (have only 2 myself).

Yes! I totally agree with the Portal games! They're absolutely fantastic! (Although, they are puzzle games, but still amazing because they're first person puzzlers.) But do NOT look up story of them (especially the first one) before you play because (in my opinion) playing it with no idea what's going on is fantastic! I wish I could forget the story and play it again that way!

I suggest you Broforce (there is a sort of demo, The Expendabros), Starbound (early access), Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the Bioshock series...

Killing Floor 2 is pretty good in case you wanted more co-op action. Also, recently I played Joe Dever's Lone Wolf. It's awesome, much better than other gamebook type of game currently, at least for me. I'm not sure if you're a Roguelike gamer or not but Crypt of Necrodancer is pretty good and of course, the famous Binding of Isaac Rebirth.

do you like to play every genre?
turn based strategy: civilization 5 (historical) or age of wonders 3 (fantasy)
story game: to the moon
point & click: deponia series or changes of satinav (and the second part: memoria)
games when you have not much time: one finger death punch
if you like to explore: euro truck simulator 2
to relax (and building a city):: cities skylines
if you are an masochist: dark souls
if you are a special kind of an masochist: bad rats^^
racing game: trackmania nations forever (free to play but fantastic)

so many different great games... but difficult to choose the right ones for you, when we dont know what you exactly are looking for^^ the most time you have spend on steam games are two fps and gta (also action + shooting). i heard, far cry blood dragon shall be great.

But Portal 2 is a must. There's just no way around it. :p (Don't look at my playtime on Steam, I have played it on another account before)

You don't seem to be much into roguelikes, but maybe you will be. :) I'd suggest Sword of the Stars: The Pit. Very addictive. As well as Spelunky.
