Yes I tried recording the music and song both threw TS sadly the guitar was mutilated, and sounded flat. I think, the best option is to record the instrumental localy and uploading it, not sure what the best program for that would be, you'd want something that saved uncompressed audio

If you want to sing Acapella that's fine. If you want to accompany yourself on the guitar, just be warned TeamSpeak distorts the sound slightly, it was bad enough that the previous person that tried that asked for the song to be taken down and is recording his guitar track separately and sending it to me to add in post production

start rant Marriages are the root of alot of evil, not suprising when so much people divorce. And it has something unnatural, to commit yourself, in most cases, for the rest of your life to someone (not saying there aren't good examples where it can be possible, but it's rare.) and it usually ends up just accepting eachother then still loving eachother. end rant

A few things to note
So far the best way to do karaoke over teamspeak seems to be with the singer listening to the song over headphones, I'll recording their voice and then add in the music in post production. Playing the music over teamspeak distorts the top end of the music. It is helpful if you chose a song that has an instrumental version already, While I can take any song and minimize the original singer, i can not remove them entirely.
I am unsure how long this competition will take, as I don't know the amount of interest there will be

EDIT 2 Someone asked me if they could record more then one song, I considered this and said, yes, but new people will be given president for recording and editing, and if you get more then one of your songs chosen by the voting at the end of the contestant, you still only win once, the top 3 singers, not songs win prizes
