A waste of money? Well, isn't steamgifts just that - especially if you do not have the means to give away stuff? Sticking around here because of the amazing & fun community I found along the way. :) It just so happens that giving away stuff gives a jillion of users a great deal of satisfication too, me included ofcourse! You've given away some great games, hopefully the winners of those games are able to enjoy it.

Why is retroactive bundling a thing? It's punishing people that bought games at much higher prices, it's unfair. And this is coming from someone like me who isn't affected by this because I'm always in a state of completely broke. I feel generosity should be rewarded not shoved in the same boat with late bundles.

Because one can not prove if the game is bought at full price months ago, of just from a recent, cheap bundle. Retroactive bundling also only applied for giveaway created after the deal/bundle started - it can suck, but far less people, who bought the game previously are affected than the folks who just rush to create giveaways asap.

They're your giveaways, so you are free to bl how you like - just feels crappy - I can't afford to give a game away every time I win... and it's not like I don't do give back or don't do a giveaway once in a while (I'm level 5)

Considering it's a week long event and all giveaways should end on 31st, I think making giveaways before that date still qualifies them. That's what I think at least, but I'm not the creator of the event so I could be wrong, I'm probably not though.

I really need to clean up my blacklist. I use SG++ to label blacklisted users now, but I have a long list of users from SGv1 which I never labeled. I try to remove users I see on the forum from time to time. Hey, forgive and forget. Who knows, maybe the people I blacklisted aren't so bad now. Everyone deserves another chance. :)
Well, I mean except for a few which are labelled "PERMA-BLACKLIST"... There are only very few of these though. :P
