I don't know about making giveaways. I believe you're legit and I hope this isn't giving people ideas but what would be there to stop someone making a giveaway that starts and ends today but only adding the key after they secure their free key tomorrow? With 100k keys on offer I'm sure it would be easy to get one and there wouldn't be much risk of not being able to come through with the key in question. Kind of makes me want to stay away from making GAs for it, as it might look suspicious to some.

Don't listen to the others. Don't create a GA for it. It will still be deleted. Since it was known about before it started. GA's that are deleted are usually effective from the moment the information about the free giveaway came out. This is to stop people exploiting it.
Although I see you've already made giveaways. Good luck. Hopefully they don't get deleted.

How is it exploiting if people know the game will become free in the future? If there was an announcement that a certain game was going to be given away for free next month then no games can be created after it's announced? Why? It's not free yet so why should it count as a free game?

Some people create giveaways to end after the free giveaway starts. They then use the free key they got from that in their giveaway. Therefore they are exploiting the system. I'm not saying SketCZ is exploiting, just that mods might think he is.

Yeah, kinda. 2 things:
- the pass has to be simple; no symbols, at least 8 chars, letters and numbers.
- I used the link provided by indiekings announcement (and thus, their referral) from there it worked.
