yep totally agree, the only time i blacklist people is when they are mean, and rude. Plus Christmas is the time of the year where we share gifts with loved ones and friends, even people we don't know because we care. Its the season for giving, so why would someone want to be mean and blacklist someone when they should get to know the person before you judge them. People do that all the time and its just bad manners and inconsiderate. Plus you never want to make enemy's here, because fighting is never fun and can get those people kicked. Ive had it happen to a friend because of the other party member was being racist and calling my friend names and blacklisted my friend. So i say if you get blacklisted just ignore the person and let them be who they want to be. Don't interfere ever....

I like my blacklist, but I might go through and remove some people. After all, of the first three on my blacklist, two have been permanently suspended (one for scams, the other for winning multiple games several times over the span of months and still not having a copy activated). Might be able to drop it under 700 again. :D

I'm going to try to limit my blacklist to people who flagrantly violate rules. On occasion I've let someone annoy me to the point where I blacklist for, in retrospect, rather petty reasons. Usually I remove the blacklisting when I think it over, but there are a few people who do things that are so disrespectful of the rules and the community they'll stay on my blacklist. Most people, on the other hand, I'm willing to forgive. Merry Christmas!

I may not remove everyone from my blacklist, but I'm planning on cleaning it some before the holidays. The only permanent residents shall be the serial rule breakers (the truly un-redeemable). I've already removed a few today who were there for being on Santa's naughty list for being extremely rude because I observed them today being helpful or kind to others on the forums.

I use mine chaotically, but I did go through it a few days ago and trimmed it by about 3. I also added a few whitelist entries and I'm ALMOST as many whitelists now as blacklists.

Christmas time is coming, which was always very important for me, I tend to forget all bad things that happened across the year, forgive everybody for his/her mistakes, as well as apologize for my own.
After analyzing ArchiBoT's results I now realized that blacklist is a mistake. People are excluding each other for silly reasons, and I don't want to fall into the same category. SteamGifts is about generosity, winning and giving, not about exclusion, drama and toxic community.
Therefore, I purged my blacklist entirely, and I'm not going to use that feature anymore. Also I'd like to apologize if I ever made you upset, angry, or in any other way made you sad. Hope you can forgive me too.
