Some of these GAs use SGTools filters. If you're curious about the meaning of the rules, you can see this explanation.

In an attempt reduce the chance of people getting multiple wins, all giveaways end a month from now, after the rush hour.
It works for multiple wins, but potentially you'll also increase yourself amount of rerolls, because people usually tend to forget to leave ongoing giveaways after they win. I for one, try to remember to always check & leave all giveaways for the same game I won or I'm activating from a bundle, but I also tend to forget one or two from time to time.

Yeah, maybe a better approach when giving away games from a recent bundle would be to use a regular period (e.g. 3 days), but check if the winner already won the game recently before sending the key, and if they didn't, remind them to leave other giveaways for the same game. In any case, it's too late do to it here...

I have to add to Archi's post that since SG++ is relatively popular, and it offers us the possibility to hide entered giveaways, the chances for one forgetting they won is even greater. Especially if they tend to spend most of their points and not focus only on a few games they may remember entering for.

My opinion is that the monthly humble bundles tend to have one premium game (that's usually on sale elsewhere for about the same amount as the monthly subscription cost) plus the kind of games you'd see in an indiegala $1 bundle.
still don't know why people are falling for it...

HBM getting worse and worse lately. I think the only good one was the first. :(((

Can't figure out why sgtools says I have unactivated wins. I totally have all the games I won on steam so I'm sure I activated them all.

It doesn't:

If it the SGTool filter behaves differently you may want to report it here:

I had the same problem with a payday dlc that I've won. Steam API couldn't send the necessary info that I've activated it to sgtools. Your problem seems to be that. As Yirg said just post it on the discussion and someone will fix it

If your level is 0 and you've won less or 2 giveaways you can enter.
If your level is below 2, you've won less or 10 giveaways and you've given more than 30$ CV you can enter.
If your level is above or 2, your ratio of giveaways is greater than 1 and you've given away over 100$ CV you can enter.
Think I got it right

No problem, I tried to understand the reason why I couldn't enter the broken age giveaway so everything was pretty much fresh.
Feels good to help tho =)

Actually, now that I look at it again, I found out that the Level 2 rule doesn't make sense. Level 2 or less means less than $25 given, so adding the requirement for $30 or more means this rule will allow exactly 0 users in. I now reduced it to $15.
BTW, if you're interested in the game Contrast, you may want to refresh the giveaways feed ;-)

Thanks for that <3
I'm very interested on it but I've already have it on the steam store cart and will buy it instead. Don't want to miss the promotion :b

And rule 3 is a bit weird too. It basically means people at level 2 or 3 can't enter. The rules seem to be very arbitrary: people at level 0-2 can enter (if they fullfill the extra requirements; then people at level 2 or 3 can't enter; and people at level 4+ can enter again (if they fulfill the extra requirements).

SGTools uses floating point for Level, so all levels can enters. They just need other supporting qualifiers - if they are level 0 to 1.99 they can enter based on being unlucky. If they are higher level they can enter based on being generous. Nothing arbitrary about it, but I'm open to hear about better alternatives.

I passed all three test, though I didn't enter all of them, it made me feel good. :)

Hmm. I could swear I should be able to enter the giveaway for Broken Age, but for reason I don't meet the requirements.
Public CV bigger than 100 check (143) and ratio should be 87/82 which is over 1. Am I missing something?
