The 5 giveaways in the train had names of chemicals listed in them. Those were:

Alizarin
Veratraldehyde
Dinitrochlorobenzene
Ortho-nitrodiphenyl
Looking up the CAS registry numbers (that's why the puzzle is CASual and CASe-sensitive) will result in (the CAS format given in hint 5 is ??-??-? or ???-??-?)

Taking the first 2 or 3 digits of those (thus 3 2 3 2 2) or the digits before the first hyphen (checksum is the last digit, you don't really need it here) gives 122 72 120 97 86. Put this into xlate or any other ASCII converter and you have: zHxaV, which is the hidden giveaway code for MISSING: An Interactive Thriller.

As the Halloween hype is over now I wanted to find a moment to thank everyone who supported me on a recent unemployment train.
That one is over as I got a casual position in academia for at least the next few months, so I'm feeling a bit more secure and I got back to solving puzzles again, yay!!!.
Haven't got any paychecks yet, so don't expect a train of grat value: mostly bundle leftovers and simple unbundled games.
