Do you buy games protected by Denuvo?
Not sure about Breathedge. Steam page doesn't display the Denuvo warning so one would think the cancer was removed.

Because a Steam reviewer wrote the game has Denuvo DRM and on his system with Alder Lake CPU the game crashed constantly.
The fact CPY CODEX cracked the game was another indication for me Denuvo was involved (as they are Denuvo specialists).
Edit: the idea CPY CODEX would make the effort to crack a game only protected by Steam DRM is laughable.

It is a known issue games crash on Alder Lake CPU if an older version of Denuvo is used. So I was bewildered as there is no Denuvo warning on the Steam store combine this with the contradicting review and hence my question and the loop closes.

This^^ and the fact there's no information about Denuvo as DRM for Breathedge. As a risk taker I bought the game and will see how it goes.
I would have whitelisted you as a little thank you but you're there already.
Thanks again for your time and the nice conversation.

Let's say it's not a coincidence and that it really is a problem with Alder Lake. Would that be something that could be fixed relatively quickly? Is there a much of a history of recently released CPU's having issues with anti-tamper/anti-cheat technologies?
The reason I ask is because I'm going do a new build sometime over the next month or two. Was planning on either Rocket or Comet, but I have kept Alder in consideration.

All I can tell you is older versions of Denuvo DRM don't play nice with Intel's new chiplet design. Intel worked with Denuvo to update their software and newer versions shouldn't cause crashes.
Problem is not all publishers/devs update their games accordingly.

That's interesting. I'll have to look into it. I think I'll just stick with my original idea and go with Comet Lake. Save a little money in doing so, and then get a motherboard that can have Rocket added in later if need be. Thanks for the reply.

I wonder, if someone mentioned Assassins.Creed.Valhalla.Complete.Edition.MULTi14-ElAmigos ...

Better late than never. Now can Microsoft remove Denuvo it added on Ghostwire:Tokyo post launch cause that is beyond egregious. Considering they own both devs of Doom Eternal and Ghostwire:Tokyo.

Added, thank you!
Some users report better performance:
can confirm - i just reinstalled, before the game was constantly stuttering and i refuse to play that way...
now? now i'm at 90fps and 4k with smooth frame timing, very very very occasional load stutters but the overhead on my gpu is massive.
4k/90fps = 50-60% gpu utilization. that's an insane difference from before...
This is crazy:
I just tested it and also no more large stutters and the in game benchmark now says 207 avg FPS instead of under 100. Thats an insane improvement.

I have searched for more info: FIFA 16 back in the day was only bypassed (you had to download the demo and add the files from the full release), now they released a crack + Origin emulator:
Protection: Denuvo + VMProtect + Custom + Origin
Credits to RUNE for the Origin emulator.

IMPORTANT: Please, add (type) the tag "Denuvo" manually to all Denuvo games you visit in the Steam Store, there aren't still enough games tagged as "Denuvo" so the tag does not appear. I'm adding direct links to the games below.
Also you can join this group and you will get a notice in every game profile with Denuvo.
Please, don't post links to torrents or warez related sites.
I opened this thread to post news about this protection. There's a Previous thread with interesting info but was closed by the author.
