Hello SG people!
So I need to go to my country's capital city in couple of hours to attend an event. And I fucking hate going there, it is ugly, people are not nice and the moment my foot touches this city's ground I immediately want to go back to my hometown.
I needed a topic for my train so you saw what I did :D

I haven't been in berlin yet, so I can't really vote. But I hope your time in the capital was not so bad.

People are saying that you can't see anything in Germany but I think they are wrong.
My time in the capital was not that bad I've met with some new people there (huge progress for me since I don't go outside so much)

I live on the edge of Prague, having both access to forests within walking distance and the convenience of easy access to the city center :o)

Aahh the you are living in the golden spot of your city. I can't live without a tree near me, in my town there is a huge forest park just 10 minutes walking away from my home, I'm trying to spend as long as possible there.

Dilma made a lot of mistakes, but she wasn't the major problem of the country, I assure you.

Yes, I was born in my country's capital and like half of my family lives there. That said while I like staying for a few weeks, living there is quite stressful for me, there's too much people.
About my province's capital, I live here and I like doing so.

My capital city is Jerusalem. Personally I'm not a huge fan of it. It has this tense religious atmosphere that I don't care for. I do like a few things about it. For example Jerusalem stone, which is very commonly used for building construction (or at least cover the external part of buildings). It looks much nicer (architecturally) than most other cities in Israel, where this type of construction is uncommon. The hilly terrain and the fact that most cables (phone, electricity) are underground also gives it a nicer look than most other cities. Not enough for me to ever consider living there.

No, but only because it's too big and crowded for my taste (Zagreb, pop. 750k). I prefer towns with somewhere between 50 and 150 thousand inhabitants.

Here in the States, I've never considered our capital much. I've never been east of Texas, so I've never seen our capital. To be honest, I don't have an opinion on it, it's just where our central government is. Took me years to figure out what "D.C." stood for....

Washington DC is actually nicer than some other capitals I've been to. I definitely recommended that you visit. A few pictures from my first visit to DC:

Some really impressive views there. That's actually pretty good photography. Certainly wasn't taken on a smartphone, either. Yeah, I'll have to check it out someday when I get a chance.

Thank you.

I took these pictures with a small-sensor (aka "P&S") Ricoh GX200. The sensor quality is probably not much better than modern smartphones (if at all), but the lens is excellent and of course manual controls are abundant. A really fun camera to take pictures with.
