I feel with you, has someone how get 2 Keys from 1 Giveaway because i trusted him that the Key didnt work. So he get i double and a few Days later he give it away ^^ Ya Shit Happens.

Sorry for my outburst, but just remembered what happened to the grandmother of a friend. For some time they running a fraud - calling on elderly people and tell them that someone close to them is in hospital and urgently need money for surgery. So they robbed the savings of the elderly. And they are not large, most pensioners in the country survive with 70-80 euros per month.
I'm really sorry for what happened to you and I hope not to meet such people in the future.

I have been scammed 2 times before, though the games I lost weren't such a big deal but I could have seen it coming, though one of the scammers had a lot of rep+ on steam so I had to go first, we where trading like 4 games for dead rising I think. Didnt pain me too much as they where bundled games but whatever, still not cool.
The other time the guy was supposedly a middle man to his friend who wanted the game, so I went first (it was a 2 for 1 game exchange btw) and the gut went like "okay my friend is testing it now just wait", waited for like an hour and then the guy unfriended me...

MP3 hollywood version..no nightmare like levels and too much cinematic n no comic book style story telling no villains worth remembering neither. still worth playing for kinda average story n series completion

I dont know, max payne 3 was pretty solid, you get to know what hapened to him, the enviorments are lively and different from the noir NY city, sure the story was the weakest but gameplay wise was the best. The only thing that really kills it for me is the frigging glitch effects they added to it in cutscenes and sometimes in mid gameplay, really took me out of the game and made me feel sick.

Sigh - sorry to hear this. Frankly it isn't about the value of the game or the platform, but the loss of faith in other human beings that sucks so badly :-( This reminds me of the basement-dwelling troll on GOG that deliberately scams users and then posts evil comments about how gullible the users are and how much he delights in making people feel badly with his scams. Ugh, just ugh :-(

Thanks for the giveaway and sorry to hear you were scammed. I've been 11 years on Steam and 1 year on SG and it's here in the SG trade section I was scammed for the very first time ever thanks to a serial beta key scammer that scammed atleast 5 other SG users in the very same way and manner.
I also didn't lose much like you as I find that being scammed feels much worser than just the loss of a game.

I'm not sure, but as far I know Origin is even easier than steam. Because when you try to use a key on Origin, it shows additional window with the game you are trying to activate and question if you want to do this. So you check the game before activating without activating. If the key is used you see a message that the key is used. I really miss this function on steam, because you can't check the steam key without activating (except when you already have this game).

So I was just scammed for the first time.
I found someone who was looking for Farcry 4 and other AAA games but also for "Dead Space 3 for Origin". Great I though, got the key lying around for a very long time.
Because of timezones it took a day but the user added me and I made sure that he really wanted an Origin key. The trade was DS3 for Max Payne 3, I went first, because we both had 0 rep and I don't really care for Origin keys. He used the key, said it worked, sent his key, which was already activated :(, and - surprise said 'bye', unfriended and blocked me.
I am glad that I was first scammed for an Origin key :)
So now he has -1 rep, let's see if I receive one too and how fast support will deal with him. 'User report' - reason: 'other' - proof provided; I hope the screenshots are sufficient, if support reads this text and images should have a certain format, please say so
