Must be. Why the hell else would you make this thread?

Welcome to the Internet.
I have nothing against people going to GOG. I like GOG and hang at the forum there (the SG forum and the GOG forum are my two major haunts). Still, feels like an overreaction to me.
I've been on Steam for years, always with a private profile. I don't trade, rarely read the forums, don't care much about other people (although I have my share of "friends", mainly people I gifted something to), and my main encounter with trading cards is getting them during sales in selling them for a total of $1-2, which I then put into games.
The point is, if you use Steam as a store and gaming client, and not as a social platform, then your problems go away.

I was trying to write smthng good, but i just remember thats my english is not good. It really reminds me 4chan thread and i want to ask someone: threads like this one, with "waiting for salty posts" is already everywhere on the internet? I forgot when i lost my pleasant forum discussions...

If you would want to move on, you wouldn't have made this thread, but instead just moved on.
Dragging the s*** you want to move away behind you - this is not, how you move on in life.

I certainly do hope this is a good move as it being the internet, going to another area might not exactly help.

I don't care about these community's stuff. Like someone has said: it has nothing to do with us. Just play your games.
What I don't like about Steam is the DRM. Oh, how I hate that Steam client! I just want to download the .deb installer, Christ.
One (the only) thing I like about Steam is steamgifts. Gifting and receiving games is so cool.
There's a wishlist on GOG about an OpenID thing: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/openid
Maybe if GOG implemented it, we could see giveaway sites like steamgifts for GOG keys haha

but... you just have small library on steam... and you just make account on 2015?... so... if you have another account before so you must have VAC ban?... or?...
my last question, why you make this thread?... if you want to leave steam and then move gog, just go ahead no one care.

Guys i'm not saying that "steam its the best freaking platform, lets go lick gaben's balls". For me, its the cheapest, im my current currency, sometimes, nuuvem.com overcomes it. I'm talking like a gamer customer. I go where its the cheapest.
Sometimes where its cooler. Or where my friends already are. Just gonna be polite. Everyone deserves respect, even the most awkward or annoying.
People need to learn how to give a fuck to annoying people. Just ignore them.
Best wishes to all of you.
xoxo

How about just play the games and forget about the rest?
Make your profile private (check!)
Unfriend everybody.
Don't visit Steamgifts.
Play games.
Ignore groups, the market, cards, friends, etc. You know-- back to Steam 2006. :)

I can't say Steam veteran or smth, but I know Steam since 2005. It worked pretty well for me until 2007, when this new Steam community beta came in with all these Trading Cards, badges and other stuff. If I had to list things, which I hate on Steam, it would be:
Some might say - welcome to the Internet. Well, I thought the difference between Internet and Steam is the ability to control, but it seems it didn't work out.
I think it's time to move on.
