Gabzilla beat me to it... I wanted to post a P. Metallica picture (gooty ornemantal sapphire). Yeah, it was that cobalt blue tarantula you've seen not long ago. I have a love/hate relationaship with spiders, I think they're incredibly fascinating critters but I can't help but squirm if there is one close to me. :o/ (still, that P. Metallica was beautiful, wasn't it?) Huh, and I think someone's already posted a pic of a great white shark before... damn... and you don't want any cat-related picture? >.< FINE! I give thee... the ANGLER FISH, deal with it! :D

Yes, yes it is. I had to google it up the first time I read that because I couldn't believe it myself. ;) Matthew, The Oatmeal, didn't post anything related to the female. I guess that's because she gets the bigger end of the deal. I mean, she gets to reproduce AND keep a set of balls on top of that. ;)

This cute spider got my eye sometime ago because of how much its shape and colours vary. I could see something dark on its shell...maybe it's a dark helmet or even an alien spaceship, I don't know, so I had this pic as wallpaper for some time.

What an interesting spider! I came to the conclusion, spiders most be the most diverse species we have on earth. I am observing so many different spiders in my garden alone, now if you take the whole world into consideration. It's amazing. Fascinating creatures they are!

I was in a giving mood yesterday. First I wanted to create a troll topic about how I never win. But everybody can see with a quick look at my profile that this is just not true (although I feel like the Spacecat doesn't love me like she used to anymore). Then the site went down again yesterday and I couldn't finish my train. So I went to bed and shortly before falling asleep I had a much better idea.We're all so depended on the Spacecat. Why? There's a world full of animals out there! I would like to create a thread that has all animals in it you can think of. So in addition to the troll train that you can find above I'd like to play a little game with you. Everybody who posts me a unique picture of an animal will be either put on a temporary whitelist or be invited to a special group (I have not yet decided about that part, it's still morning, I just got up), and I will give away a nice non bundle game to those lovely people.The rules are:it has to be a unique animal, nobody else has to have posted a picture of it before you. So please check before posting and don't edit your comments, edited comments cannot be counted as valid entries. If you found out only after you posted something the animal you chose was already posted, please just create a new post with another.A bear is not a bear. If you see pictures of a Grizzly doesn't mean you cannot post a picture from an Ice Bear. I went for the temporary whitelist solution. 147 people made it on there. So you all better check your group tab on the front page. It lasts a week, so everybody has enough time to enter.
