If it's based on user tags, that's probably the result of some hilarious people submitting inaccurate tags, like Barbie Dreamhouse Party being one of the top "ninja" games.

its a shame, that ruins the whole project.

Ended up working. Is a nice thing to look for stuff to clear up your backlog. I entered "Short" as a tag along with other filters of games I was interested in, and then picked "Freedom Fall" as my next game to complete. Would've been nice if there was some way to incorporate personal tags (I have tagged games I've already completed). I can sort by playtime and then search from the bottom, but then that stops me from being able to sort by user ratings or metacritic. Also, ranges for those two things would've been useful too!

Cool. But I would like to see it as extension to my client.

Same; sorting my library into categories manually is a huge chore.

Like mod or somthing to steam client. Base system of tag not work well in my case. But again cool site I definitely will use it from time to time.

Uh nice!
Looks like you can also filter by 'not having x tag' by clicking on a certain tag twice :)
It's not like I have a huge game collection, but this is still great for choosing what to play!
Specially since it looks like I can only play about 56% of my games XD

There's a very long list of features that people have been asking Steam to implement for many years and they don't bother. There was a thread about it a month or two ago, but I can't find it. Quite amazing they do so little when Engineering resources are obviously not an issue (it shouldn't be if their revenue is about $400 million USD a month).

Love that site - maybe loads similarly slowly as browser-steam's library, but never crashed, and the ability to use the categories is just incredible. Funny that Steam even after the UI/ store update is not as useful as this site, or enhanced steam ...

Lorenzo Stanco added two new filters to the site - for wishlist and for games shared with friends. The former is especially useful to decide which games to purchase in sales.

I mentioned it in the past, but I think it's worth dedicating a separate thread for this fantastic tool. You can find it here:
http://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/
It basically allows you to filter and sort your Steam library in a very powerful way, showing only games that match a certain set of tag (e.g. Atmoshpheric + Post-apocalyptic + Story Rich), or that support a certain feature (e.g. Full Controller Support + Local Co-op), and then sort them by either Name, Playtime, Metascore or Steam User reviews. It's also now possible to bookmark the page already populated with your Steam user to make it easier to access the results. An amazing tool that everyone with decently sized Steam library should know about.
