You know, this is a really simple but great idea. It wouldn't have to contain this thread or even the entire FAQ/Guidelines, but just a quick "Read this if you want to use this site" topic (closed and stickied). It would have a bulleted list of the most important points (maybe 5-10 of them?), with links to the FAQ and Guidelines. Easy to implement.

You can't "disallow" ideology. And I don't even know what to think about idea to disallow avatars.
People that don't behave properly are already covered by When posting content, it should respect the privacy and rights of others.. So it's fine to discuss some topic in civil manner, it's not allowed to call someone nazi, moron, slut and so on just because you don't agree with them. It's about form, not certain ideology. It's the same about avatars, the ones that show disrespectful content or nudity shouldn't be used.

i wanted to ask that a long time ago, but i think it can't be done unless the help section doesn't work like a normal forum thread.
if it can be posted/updated with html i guess it should be easy to implement.
