Well, after a ton of bundle/free games and a few other games I've hit a fairly decent number of games! I still have to play a few of them of course but I try to get to all of them. I've got about $10 left in my Steam wallet and I'm not sure what I should get as my 500th game.

I was thinking a FF game but I don't know which one or if maybe someone recommends something else instead, so I'm taking suggestions.

Please look at my games list before suggesting something.

It's public but here is a thank you giveaway!

Anyways, I'm heading off to bed, see you all in the morning!

Please let me know if you used the key!

EDIT: Well, I ended up getting Dishonored GOTY.

You don't have Fallout 3 or Dishonored, they're still on sale in the encore :)

The reason I haven't directly thought about buying those is because I've played them both at a friend's house (to completion) but I will keep them in mind, thanks!

Maybe don't buy anything, finish something not played from your library.

Oh, I'll be doing that, but i still would like to get a 500th game that is something I truly will play and not, say, a free game from the indiegala ones or some other giveaway

I tried to do that before my 500th game, I'm close to 1000 games now and still only played a few...

That does seem interestingly but it looks a little tough to learn how it works, is it or is that just how it shows if you're not actually playing it?

Well, It used to be a mobile game, but then they ported it to PC and started improving it...
I wouldn't say it's hard, it might take a while to finish the campaign mode (due to bad luck), but imo it's a great game.
And it's on the wishlist of about 5k steamgifts users

I've played it on my phone. I like it very much and I don't think it's hard to learn =)

Will keep this in mind, I haven't decided if I want to get another turn based rpg considering I bought child of light and valkyria chronicles during the sale

Might I suggest Dungeons of Dredmor? It's probably my favorite game on steam and it hardly ever gets any love. It's always super cheap too. If you're into rogue-likes that are easily accessible than I can't recommend the game enough.

As said above, I'll keep it in mind but I'm not sure if I'll go for another turn based rpg game right now, it does look like a great game though, thanks for the recommendation!

After looking at your collection a little deeper, all the titles that you've played the most are shooters. Most of the games I would recommend are roguelikes or -lites but perhaps you could check out Ziggurat. It's a fps with rogue-lite elements. A Heretic meets Binding of Isaac if you will.

Yeah, I tend to end up playing a lot of multiplayer games and those usually go to shooters haha, thanks for the suggestion, it does look interesting!

Have you played the demo? Maybe that could change your mind ;-)

(The Demo does not contain any of the original game. It's more like a prequel or an expansion ..)

Hyperdimension got added to my wishlist a few days ago when it was a daily deal but I'm not sure if I want to get that just yet

That I don't know, unfortunately, as I've never tried the multiplayer for it before. D: The main game itself has been more than enough to keep bringing me back to it over and over again tho'. It's kinda like this, you see.

If you are still thinking about getting an FF, I would suggest FF IV. It is my favorite FF out of the ones on your wishlist, although I have not played the steam version.

Looking through your wishlist, I'd recommend:

  • Recettear, an excellent hybrid of action RPG and management
  • BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, a very satisfying fighter without a huge learning curve
  • Assassin's Creed II, a significant improvement over its prequel and an overall good game

I'll actually recomend TWO games.
Frederic: Ressurection of Music and Frederic: Evil Strikes Back.
I'm not particularly fond of music-related games but I thought them quite entertaining.
Be aware of "lookalikes", though. (like Lady Gaga, Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson...)

If you have 100 hours to throw away, FF is always a good choice(maybe VII or VIII)
Otherwise one of the fallout series(even older ones)
