Solution to 31-5

Level 1

You had to listen to "Come Little Children" which was the key to the first level of the puzzle.

You then had to take the numbers found in the source code of the thread: 10,1,5_1,1,3_5,2,2_2,2,3_15,5,2_9,5,3_7,1,7_18,1,1

There are 8 sets, each one is related like this: Line of song from video, word, letter

Here is a reference of the part of the song that I used:

Level 2

In the They Bleed Pixels giveaway you will find this text:

Something nearby isn't right, but it doesn't make a difference.*

Which marks the beginning of Level 2.

Using the rumkin tool you have to insert the gibberish into the "Your message" box.

The tricky part comes from the passphrase.

The "something nearby" was referring to the Bump! link with the "isn't right, but it doesn't make a difference" referring to the flavor text that comes after the code for the thread, which changes the URL, but ultimately doesn't do anything. This flavor text gives you the passphrase: easy

Decrypting the message then yields this sentence: "As azure always allures ebony wizards awarding czars!"

Now the evil part.

Take note that this is an 8 word sentence.

As I stated in the hints that every word had a meaning and even went so far as to say "double meaning?" this meant you needed to take the 2nd letter of each word. Giving you the ITH code: szLLbiwZ

The solutions to this ITH are as follows:

1. 50 (order of numbers in which 5 appears)
2. 133 (atomic masses of the Alkali metals)
3. 75 (360/x+15)
4. 26 (P=16, U=21, Z=26, Z=26, L=12, E=5)
5. 31 (dates this puzzle ran)

Solving the ITH then gives you this: "Don't you agree with me? gQm??"

This somewhat indirectly refers to my Shadow Man giveaway from the main thread in which I use the word "me" as the link.
