Story of my life, i have like 40 games on steam my computer can't run xD

Wait... what? Why would you buy a game you can't run? If you save your money you can buy better parts now and buy the games later. Why? First of all you'll have a better machine earlier so everything you do on your computer will run better, second you'll be saving money because the longer you wait to buy most games the cheaper they get, and lastly because you won't feel sad knowing you own games you can't play.

I love RO2, the atmosphere in that game is unmatched by Battlefield 3 or anything I've played so far..

I would say "Saints Row the Third", I had so much fun in coop with the second game but this one didn't work for me.

To be honest I enjoyed the story and the humour, and the game itself seemed more polished. But I have to say I have only a few hours of sr2 played,I was deterred by the engine physics and the gameplay(the driving for me was really bad, like even when you drove a golf cart you entered this warp zone and it seemed like you were touching the speed of light)

it's STILL broken? i was considering getting it but i heard so many bad things that i didn't.

The last update I did was 2.0. I heard 4.0 is out already? I'll give them a few more months...

EA's incredible marketing division decided that patches should be in the form of the standard "X.Y", where "X" goes up when they do client changes, and "Y" goes up when they only do server changes.
It's not patch "4.0", really - it's more like 1.04.
But they have a new DLC to sell you :vomit:

I didn't have any problems with it and I got it a week after release. Pretty good game.

Most people could have told you that before you bought it.

After buying A LOT of shitty games, because "the trailer was awesome" or some biased game magazine gave it an insanely high rating I started to DL the games beforehand and if I liked them I bought them on Steam! (tired of buying fancy looking crap)
My top 5:
Darkspore
Far Cry 2
Rift
Brütal Legend
A Valley without a Wind 2

Personal opinions differ, i might call game X bad while you find it good :p

Reasons? Good graphics, decent quests, big areas, nice voiceovers, good sound, various buddies, collectibles, freedom of movement? rambo/stealth gaming style? weapon jamming etc etc? So?
The only thing that comes to my mind is: you don't like sandbox games with huge areas. Far Cry 2 is a good game overall. Period. The fact you don't like it is a different thing.
Learn to separate "Bad Game" (for obvious reasons) from a "Game You don't Like"

actually, Arma II is amazing. DayZ is shitty mod that ruined the game :)
Comment has been collapsed.
i think the normal gameplay (without DayZ) is not for "normal" people. AFAIK that's more for organised people/ex soldiers and the likes, they generally give REALLY good reviews of Arma II

Hah arma 2 sucks.... uhh i wish that kind of people stop joining public servers and ruining the fun for others, before the dayz hype i could join any server and have really great co-op gameplay now its impossible for arma 3 also... so i had to find a clan to play normal co-op.... only good thing of dayz is that it gave bohemia some money and well im sure there was still lot of people that loved arma 2 because of dayz..... but i hate those kids joining random co-op servers, good thing tho they don't play for long and just go back to cod.

Yes, beta was pretty good so I bought it. Then I found out that it wasn't Ace of Spades.

Battlefield 3 (simply not a Battlefield game anymore - wouldn't regret if it was called Bad Company 3, because then it would've met my expectations)
Crysis 2 (god was this game bad - didn't even bother to buy the third one)
Spore (fun to play in the beginning, just not motivating in the long run - maybe I should give it another try...)
Skyrim (played for 2 hours and then stopped playing - maybe I should give it another try)
Arma 2 (the tutorial was seriously broken and left me alone in a complex simulation without explaining anything)
Far Cry 2 (do I have to explain what's wrong about this game?)
Homefront (because I didn't want to believe the gametests saying "it will disappoint you")
Hitman Absolution (played the sniper mission demo, thought "what a great game!", played the real game and thought "meh")
Most indie games (I said MOST, not ALL. The problem with indie game is that they get hyped because of their uniqueness, but 'unique' is too often used by people, that obviously have no idea about game design and hide the fact, that they couldn't do it better if they tried behind what I call 'artistic nonsense')

Skyrim?? I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

If that's the only thing that keeps you living, then you might think about your life for a bit... The world just feeled... empty. I don't know why.

I pre-ordered Homefront. Big mistake. I tried to warn my friends not to buy it, but for some it was too late.

mass effect 3, pure crap after awesome two games.

IMO the ending is the only thing that sucks for me.
Comment has been collapsed.
Agreed, game itself was really good... but ending... just no comments ;)

Ending was fine, game was fantastic. The entire game was an ending. They had to close the plotlines up, in order to make things even relatively reasonable for future games. Unless you'd rather never see anything else in that setting ever again.

The only reasons I could imagine are the short playtime and way too easy difficulty but hey we are all different.

I can imagine the gameplay - it was bad.
I really liked Bioshock, because I will take even horrible gameplay for a good story, but some people can't.

Assassin's Creed (Maybe I should just play it more, quite new to the genre)
Anno 2070 (I don't get this game:/)
SimCity (need I say more?)

Kane and Lynch 1/2
Velvet Assassin
Anything from EA

Prior: some formula 1 game for the playstation. My dad never played it and it was bought for him. Huge waste of money. Rollercoaster tycoon 3 - i played it just not enough. Not enough new things to play with made it boring.
Now: Fifa 13 somewhat. I like the career mode but it's not completely to my satisfaction, simply simulating makes your good team d not so good quite a lot. + Crash crash crash at release.
What are your regretful buys?
