I'll be cosplaying myself for the first time in August and I'm probably going as Deathstroke (Arkham Origins Style)...trying to build the mask out of foam this week ;)
And for you, I wouldn't suggest going as Eren or Natsu, both are cosplayed too much IMO.

Best cosplays are homemade stuff, forget buying a wig, make one yourself.

I am going to desucon 8 early June in Norway (have to order early April).
I am there going to cosplay an anime character, but I don't really know who, I got the prices today if I order from that site, not all of the prices are with wigs so then I ahve to buy it individually.
The price here is of course in norwegian currency.
Note: a wig usually costs about 700 kr with shipping. Here are the alrternatives:
Natsu Dragneel - fairy tail - 1000 kr with wig.
Eren Jaeger - Attack on titan - 1100 kr without wig.
Roxas - kingdom hearts - 1150 kr without wig
Roxas in organization xii clothes - 850 kr without wig.
