I've only played Splatter before. And the game is awesome, thanks for the info. By the way you posted a referral link without knowing :D

"Purchasers will receive a Steam key once games have been greenlit through Steam Greenlight, so make sure you vote!"

Just trying to point out a fact. Does it have anything to do with whether I will buy something or not?

So you don't mind that 'bad' (= opinion) games get Greenlit easier/faster than actual good games because they give away their game in a bundle which costs practically nothing and promise a free Steam key once the game is Greenlit?
Do you even realize how many good games are sitting in the big steaming pile of shit called Greenlight which hardly get any attention, but a game like Siege Wars has a pretty decent chance of getting the Greenlight now that they promise a free key for every purchaser of this bundle.

Well Angry Birds Space managed to get onto Steam without going through Greenlight...

I don't like when I see really crappy games being greenlit way before other good games even when they weren't in a bundle at all. There's of course some trolling involved in those cases. But if some games, no matter if 'good' or 'bad', have been in some bundles and people bought those bundles (I would guess because they were interested in at least one or more of those games), I don't see why they shouldn't be greenlit faster so that those people can receive their keys, keys that are of course one of the main reasons for them buying the bundles in the first place.
The fact that good games don't pass through greenlight quite as fast is not only a consequence of that. Maybe the developers should try and promote their games more/in a better way. And I'm not saying putting all of them in cheap bundles, but at least making some kind of promotion, trying to get visibility, etc.. It also depends on us, on how the userbase promotes them inside various communities.
I don't have any issue with lots of games passing through greenlight, it's not like there is a game limit on steam, there is lots of space for each of them. Of course, there should be a minimum level of quality assured. If a game is incomplete/severely bugged/very poorly coded, it shouldn't be allowed no matter what the community votes are. But if the issue is just about the fact that I find a game really boring and bad graphic/gameplay-wise, it doesn't mean that other people can't still play and even enjoy it maybe, so why shouldn't it be allowed to pass?

I think every game which has a chance of making profit should be allowed on Steam, problem is; most of these so called 'shitty games on Greenlight' won't get any sales at all when they are Greenlit.
90% of their income is from the bundle sales and therefor they are a waste of space when they get on Steam in favor of other games which deserve it more.
The reason that people buy bundles like this is (not the only reason of course, obviously there are a few people who have genuine interest in the games offered) to increase their Steam library games count.
That's the selling point of these bundles, you get a Steam key once it's Greenlit. If that wouldn't be the case probably 80% of the people who bought it now wouldn't care at all then.
Have you ever noticed what question you are asked when you vote for a game on Greenlight?

If only I had known about this bundle this morning... Bought Full Bore from IndieGameStand, it seemed really interesting and the Gamespot developers' interview video on Greenlight convinced me even more, so I didn't take some time to think about it like I usually do... :S

I bought Full Bore last night as well. I don't regret it though, it seems to be the only quality game out of that bunch, so I rather support them directly (and WWF). Of course that's a matter of taste, but to me the rest of the games seem really weak.

Actually maybe you're right :P I didn't even take a look at the others yet to be honest, but seeing Full Bore in a bundle with other games for the same price I paid for it just few hours after I picked it up elsewhere without hesitation made me feel silly. But I guess you have a point and now I don't feel so bad about it either! :D

IIRC, you get it on Desura there. With this bundle, we only get DRM free unless they make it past Greenlight.

Seriously, does anyone else have a problem? I enter my email, set to 1 euro, click the Paypal button, it fails to load.

Tried myself, had no trouble. Didn't buy it, though.

Finally managed to get a purchase though by trying Internet Explorer. Took longer to get the account page to load, but I have the bundle now.

Why do some bundle sites proclaim "pay what you want" as essentially a marketing tactic.... yet have a minimum so it is factually lying.
Comment has been collapsed.
The minimum is because stuff still needs to be paid for, like the devs, site upkeep, that kind of thing. If you want to pay what you want, go to the Bay.

LOL, so true. I'm just arguing semantics. Most sites like this despite claiming "pay what you want" would not accept payments of a penny in most cases. There is usually smaller print towards the bottom of the page to the effect "actually we meant pay at least $X". Sites that elucidate this better and are more direct and honest list at the top or main section of the page "Pay at least ____".
