The giveaways will be shown like the entries you already entered.

no problem, you are better than the people that just makes a thread and whine about suggestions and how they don't want to see a game or only want to see some other games. You actually did something about it and for that i congratulate you.

I have tried your add-on, it works well!

But I prefer the other one, he is more elaborate...

If you add stuff to your add-on, feel free to update this thread, perhaps some people would prefer it to the other!

Well, the main purpose for this addon was my personal thought. Some user said, the other addon won't work but this one does. I think, it's a powerful and lightweight alternate to the other addon and sure, if someone has ideas, I'll extend it.

My addon only took about an hour from idea to version 1, and in this time I tried many different ways. I wouldn't say the other one is more elaborate, it's just more ;)

I'm not going to use it, but I'm not going to claim it was a waste. Even if nothing else, it was a good way to practice your programming (however simple or complicated it was for you) and that's always good.

I am curious, though: does it hide DLC for games you don't own? I'm pretty sure the add-on (still) doesn't do that, even when it's possible to automatically tell what game a DLC is for.

Well, the problem is, my addon just works on what the page delivers. There is no information behind the DLC, wether you own the game or not. The other addon needs to be synced and saves the list of games you own, and that's how it gets the information.

I could add features like that, but then there must be enough user to ask for something like this ^^

[EDIT]

So I saw, that the other addon can't do this as well. You know, it's really complicated to check this. There must be a database, which links every DLC to it's main game, and that's too much work for me ;)
