As no one added comment here about new ronzano SteamGifts app for android - I do:
I have tried his new version (1.6 = for Android) and I like new improvements very much! Here is the list of some of them:

• you can view comments and post comments to giveaways
• you can acces forum and post there comments
• there is new option to quick join/leave giveaway from the list of giveaways

Yes, I think the Android apps are having some problems now that the site's changed things a bit. The one I usually use doesn't seem to be loading giveaways or entries anymore. Forum access seems OK, but without proper access to the giveaways, the app's usefulness is kind of limited. The other one seems to be OK in general, but the giveaway list seems to be missing pictures. Hopefully the app developers will be able to address these issues and release updates if needed.

can I suggest another filter, that filters by time giveaway is active? If I put in 1 hour it shows public giveaways that are open for 1 hour or less time.

Okay, so i installed this: SG Enhancement Add-on - Created by Zo

Problem is the filter settings. I don´t want to filter out games, i want to filter them IN! Deciding what games i don´t want would take me years to complete. But i rather know exactly which ones i want. Anyway, i can add them whenever i come along on some stuff i don´t want for sure. Better that vanilla however! ;)
