I believe that completely.
I think a smart thing to do would be to add a "Loyalty Purchase" as a seperate option. and when a game goes 50% off, both option goes 50% off and the loyalty option was already slightly cheaper so those people are happy.

I think that's the RO2 update which makes it appear to be Rising Storm/RO2 in your library (in this case, you don't own the game)

You dont own it. The RO app was merged with the Rising Storm one because they didnt want to split the community. You can even play on RS maps even if you dont own it. but you will only be able to play as rifleman and you wont get xp.

Yep, that's the reason. They use the same application - when you launch RO2 you might get to a server which hosts RO2 and RS maps.

You already have acces to Rising Storm content but you are only able to play as a rifleman, if i'm not mistaken. Install it and check it out :p

Thanks for clearing this up, I was really confused by this. My game says Rising Storm/RO2 in the Library, and I oculd play Japanese maps so I wasn't sure how I got Rising Storm. I guess I didn't lol

It was mentioned on the store page but the midweek message has taken its place. Just FYI, the discount for RO2 owners is permanent.

And I dont regret buying the DDE for 14€ on launch.

It came from a Humble Bundle Weekly. Have in mind that Rising Storm/RO2 comes in the same game, but if you don't own RS then you only can play RS maps as a rifleman, and you cannot get exp.
