So I went and compiled a list of every single Steam game release (not including Free to Play or Software) to compare the number of games released to the number of games added to the bundle list this month. Data is here.

Important information: There were 87 new games in the Steam store this month, not including Early Access games. I believe that when these games leave Early Access, it gets an extra updated spot in the release list, which will result in a double count if added. There were 109 total new games, including these Early Access releases.

The number of items added to the bundle list this month total 84, but I might be missing a couple. I have included the Humble Weekly Sale Team 17, which should be added today or tomorrow. In addition, not included in this list is one game that Shobo should have added but has neglected to - Knights & Merchants. This is partially my fault, because I forgot to include it in the list I gave to Shobo.

These numbers mean that new Steam releases currently outpace bundle list additions, but only barely. Looks like we won't be running out of non-bundled games any time soon woooo.

Also if Shobo reads this, the following items completely follow your criteria (Over 95% off, "exploited", widely available, not a AAA game) to be put on the bundle list:
SPORE Creepy & Cute Parts Pack ($0.76, >96% off)
Serious Sam Complete Pack (
$3.88, ~96% off)

I thought SNOW was free to play.

Anyways, thanks for doing this. The numbers are reassuring.

Steam has 3000 games. Bundle list is 300 titles long. That's roughly 10% of all games that are available on Steam. Is that good or bad, decide for yourself.

I was actually expecting to see more bundle additions than new game releases. I did the same thing for the last week of September - it was something like 15 releases, 20 items added to bundle list.

Nice work. Really nice. But what am I going to do with all the bottles of water and canned food I collected for the end of the world?
