The best groups require you to give games as well, and most of them don't let you give away bundled games, so... it's mostly just karma.

20% of your posts to date have been telling fellow users to fuck themselves. A further 20% of your eagerly awaited contributions have been bleating about how you're sooooo unlucky, despite having won far more than you have given away.
Congratulations on your outstanding contribution to the Steamgifts community. Do you eat your mother out with that mouth?

You'll notice that these people also have hundreds of games given away. You might want to start on that side first.

you don't need to be rich to be a contributor. You just need to be generous. Seriously - with all trades, sales, coupons, promos, bonuses, programs like PF and tremor and so on and on avaiable all it takes to become a contributor is just to wish so. I can go to one less party during a month, save money I'd spend on these 4 beers and a pizza and I can contribute A LOT to community instead.

I'm not sure where you're getting the "rich" thing from. Unless you think spending $10 a month on giving away games is considered rich? $10 = $100 CV if you're doing 90% off games, so in two years, you can be well over $2000 CV.
A lot of groups are essentially game trading groups, but there are a lot of others where only the group owner gives out games or such. For example, I had a group for people who participated in my first group puzzle and I had giveaways every couple of weeks. There are other groups for people who participate actively in the forums or in chat, etc.

I'm poor, but given enough time, I still managed to break 1000 CV. It just requires patience

There are recruitment threads all over SG forums - so I don't see how these groups are secret in any way. Still good groups have pretty hight requirement criteria regarding to your CV, mandatory GAs, being active, keepieng good GA ratio inside a group and so on. You only look on how many some people have won, 150, 500 etc - try to look at how much they gave away as well. People with lots of wins and in lots of groups are usually also active community members and big contributors as well, so it's hard to compare you for example with no contributions and 2 coments during 5 months to them.

Thanks for saying it for me. I came to type something very similar.
Its about being an active member of the community and giving as well as receiving. A person won't get into a group merely to leech. You have to be willing to give games away, especially non-bundle games, if you want into a solid group.
Of course, you could always make your own giveaway group, too.

Once in a while admins of those groups created threads on forum and recruit people. But they are selective and won't accept leechers or people who are not active and being active on forum also helps very much.

most of big contributors on SG are adults, earning their own money and spending it on games they give away.
On the other hand we have a lot of ungrateful entitled little kiddos like you that will just bitch about contributors, because are to greedy to give anything away to the community themselves.

I'm an unemployed adult. Lucky for people here, I enjoy gifting more than quality food.

If you want to enter on those groups then search for them in the forums

You've won more from the site than you have contributed.
I'd say that makes you far from unlucky.

So sometimes i see these giveaways that literary have 2-3 people in them, thus making those people very lucky because some of them have like 150 or even 500 giveaways that they have won. Does someone know how to enter those groups? I would really want to enter one because im very unlucky. I got like more than 1400 entries and i have won only 1 of them.
