Curses. I didn't know that gmail could lose drafts if they're open when you close the browser (I kept saving it). I had something I wanted to submit, but I'm very discouraged right now. I may be able to write it from scratch, but I just don't feel like it right now.

It was also the first time I've written anything in quite a while, and I was quite excited, and now I'm really down. Grrrrr.

Several edits of this message later: I decided to use Adobe Buzzword. I use Opera and the HTML based word processors I tried (such as Google Docs) just don't work well. Tried to recreate some of what I've written, and it just didn't come out feeling the same. Part of it is the mood, I'm sure.

Heh, I see the DNF coupon is gone. Duke might have been my choice had I won (I'm still not sure if I'll enter). Probably not going to play it much if I get it, but "Duke Nukem Never" was such a staple of my adult life that I would probably have bought it for $2.50 (although I won't spend $5 on it).

Ah! Almost missed this one. I should able to cook something up fairly quickly though. ;)

Just sent my entry. Not completely satisfied with how it turned out, but it still served as some nice practice for my occasional 3D exploits.
