Haven't played it, my friend would always talk about it in middle school.
For sure though when GW2 comes out I'm going to hop on that wagon. I tried it out at Comic-Con, pretty sick.

Nowadays I only play during holiday events but when it first came out, I was on it all day every day. My guild still exists, though.

If you have any interest in playing together, just add Hobard Tor Phankin and message me when I'm on.

So ,how hard is it to get all 50 points?

Could be quite time consuming. But if you're are looking for rewards in GW2 you dont need more than 30 points. All points after 30 are just for titles, no more item rewards.

For me last 3 points has been quite expensive.

I obtained 30 points pretty easily (and cheaply), it just depends on what you go for. It's already a wonderful game as well, so just playing for fun alongside the HOM is a treat.

I've got it. I've had it for a while, it's installed, but...I don't play it much. A friend of mine gave me the money to buy it, we played for about 2 hours, and then he stopped playing altogether. So I lost interest until my fiancee asked me to play with her. Now I have an Assassin/Dervish at almost level 20. But, she doesn't play anymore either (too busy with Little Big Planet) and neither do I. Fun times when you don't care for a game when you have nobody to play it with that you know.

I have all of them, only really played Prophesies and EotN...
I don't play much anymore, mainly becayse the player base has massively dropped over the past 2 years.

I play Guild Wars quite often, actually. My main character's name is

Blood And Death Pet

I made him in beta for GW Prophecies and I enjoyed the Minion Master aspect of the necro, hence how I got my name. Add me and we can play together some time! I have beat all three campaigns and EotN so I have some experience with the game and can provide help occasionally.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a copy at less-than-retail price?

Nope but it's worth the retail costs!

Most of the time retail is cheaper than digital for guild wars...at least in my country.

I got the trilogy last summer and I haven't gotten to play it yet. In anticipation of GW2, is there any efficient way of playing through the three campaign stories?

Can anyone help me later today to defeat Remnant of Antiquities in Sepulchre of Dagrimmar dungeon during the Anvil of Dragrimmar quest? This boss is driving me insane, apparently i need someone with a good mesmer.
Here are some tips from GW wiki page on how to defeat him:
"Bring hex removal as the dryders and elementals in this dungeon use a lot of hexes.
Careful pulling and avoiding bunching up will make this dungeon a relatively easy run. Also, because the traps can deal a lot of damage, it's advised to lure the enemies to a location where the traps can't hit you.
Bringing the following skills will make this dungeon much easier: Ward Against Elements, Mantra of Frost, Light of Deliverance, Extinguish (for the final boss), and interrupts such as Savage Shot, Distracting Shot, or anything causing Daze.
There are not many fleshy creatures, so skills that inflict Bleeding, Disease or Poison, or require corpses are less effective here. Plus, the Whirling Wisps carry Banishing Strike, destroying minions quickly.
Cold damage is less effective here, since several foes have additional armor rating against cold damage.
The henchman Zho uses Broad Head Arrow, making her the henchman of choice for this dungeon if you don't have a hero with a daze skill yourself.
When facing the boss, spreading your party so his Deep Freeze won't hit all of them at the same time is very helpful.
Or you can bring Pain Inverter and a party full of necromancers with Aura of the Lich, then time your Pain Inverter so the boss kills itself"
