It's over! Gratz to Oswarlan!

Hi, it's me again with another puzzle that requires you to play through one of my Portal 2 test chambers. This time the giveaway features a different game with a capital P ;)

How to find the GA?

The code will be displayed in the 4x3 area framed by light strips right before you are about to get to the exit door.

Yes, this is a singleplayer map, but to succeed you have to play it cooperativly somehow...

The difficulty is easy, but it may require some backtracking in case something bad happens. Use the numbered "secret doors" to skip parts you already solved. Your life should not be in danger, but you may want to quicksafe after hitting each of the three numbered buttons in case you happen to fall into the goo or step into a laser field.

The giveaway will end next sunday, June 2nd, at 1 pm.

The usual rules apply, no gameplay or code spoilers allowed by any players. I may add official hints if people get stuck:

  • if you don't know how to get past the first barrier, play the frankencube part of my first map [SG1 Timewarp]() to get a clue
  • you might not know about this gameplay mechanic as it was not used in the original game campaigns. That's no glitch, it's working as inteded.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks! Do you have some Portal 2 puzzles that doesn't require Portal 2?

Solved it, but I had to glitch at one point because the tractor beam didn't stay activated.. (the one in the grid room)

Do you mean the cube would not stay put at the wall mounted switch? If so, curses, didn't think of a sefety mechanism there and I am out of allowed entities...

How do I enter the code in the puzzle? What criteria should I choose in order to be the code correct?

The puzzle site should offer a hint after an hour. You could also peek at my previous puzzle that used the same technique.

If the ga is for Portal/Portal2 you are only doing promo for your chamber here...

If you don't finish the puzzle and enter the GA you might never find out. So keep your accusations to yourself until you can prove me wrong.

It's a valid point. Also people may not be eligible for the giveaway game so it may be worth saying what the giveaway is for so they aren't wasting their time...

Still, I don't see any need for disclosing the game. People get crazy while they ninja codes for games they don't know. They hunt for hidden giveaways buried in comments.

I hinted that it is a different game than the previous one but it also has a capital P. Some may call this a riddle. Fits the puzzle theme, doesn't it? The whole purpose of puzzles is to not reveal what they are about.

On the other hand, this is a site for gamers. We love to play games. This is an opportunity to play one of the highest rated games of the last years (I even put that games name in the threads title) and have some fun time with user created content. I guess playing a game to get access to a giveaway is orders of magnitude better than simply clicking that button or other kinds of "answer a bunch of my questions".

If you're just looking for the game, every puzzle that stands in your way will just be regarded a nuisance. Admit it, you're wrong in this kind of thread.

And as long as he does not know what game I am giving away he is calling me out on something he doesn't have a fing clue about. That's just wrong. And not a valid point.

Sorry you didn't make it. Both of my puzzle giveaways used the very same method and they are solvable! 22 out of 29 users on the puzzle page made it. And yes, they all had the black grid with a couple of white squares to work with.
