I believe because it means someone else could have just downloaded the games as well and they eqivocate it to piracy which they don't want to advocate.

Know that already, but still, it's good to be known

Ok... is there ever going to be a way to ensure that every Humble Bundle giveaway is a gift URL? Will every winner even know the difference, or care? Will it matter at that point if the winner is redeeming a Steam key of a Humble Bundle that already has a Desura key used?
Is every Spacechem giveaway now going to be suspected as the extra key from the Humble Bundle?
It seems too hard to regulate this stuff... so why not remove it altogether (people can give Humble Bundles elsewhere, to random forum members, to friends, etc.)?
To put it succinctly, why not remove all humble bundles and Spacechem from Steamgifts altogether, to make it easier on the moderators. There is already the problem of not knowing if these were bought for $0.01 or $100.00, now there are new problems for the moderators to consider and it seems like unnecessary work that they really shouldn't be bothered with.
The most blatant issue is what I'm seeing above ^ ^ ^
The poster above me is trying to give away Spacechem, English is obviously not his first language. He and Loko are trying to work out why his Spacechem giveaways keep being deleted... I would guess it's because he just had a Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle giveaway just end. It's easy to assume this new Spacechem giveaway is part of that but wasn't included in the Bundle giveaway.
It's just confusing... I don't really care because I don't plan on entering these giveaways or giving away HBs... it just seems like more of a headache for the mods than it is worth.
That is my $0.02.

We have had discussions previously on removing Humble Bundles from the site and these new rules are the result of those discussions. We do not want to remove the Humble Bundle as a giveaway completely, but we will apply certain restrictions. The people that have created these giveaways were contacted about the new rule and understood. The user above you misunderstood the rules and was fine after being explained. It hasn't been all that bad.

Greetings,
Just a reminder when submitting a Humble Bundle giveaway.
When you submit a Humble Bundle, it is only acceptable to have an unactivated gift URL to provide to the winner. People giving away Steam keys and the like will be warned, have their giveaways removed, and if they continue, their accounts may result in a suspension.
Cult announced this decision a week ago, it has since been updated in the Site FAQ and Rules. This policy will be enforced until further notice.
Please note that submitting a Humble Bundle as SpaceChem or any other games is against the rules and may result in the suspension of your account.
-regards
