I want to participate, if I can come up with a good idea. I probably won't do this, but would it be acceptable to program a simple game as an entry. Also, if the prize limit is say 20$ and you only want a 5$ dollar game what would you do with the rest of the money?

As the rules say, it depends on how good my finances are the next time I make a giveaway, but they preferably go towards the next one (hence the odd price value for this month).

Did you make the link? No? Not your work then. ;)

Fucking fuck. I probably won't have time for this, and ice is so good...

I'll definitely try to loosen my schedule and think of something, but a) i've got shitloads of shit to do and b) it's hard for me to compete with one of my favorite songs that has ice for its theme.

WHY DID MY SISTERS GET THE CREATIVITY GENE AND IT PASS ME?
also its a stretch but would a joke pass as an entry if it is relating to the prompt word(can't hurt to ask)

Have to be a damn good one, as I said in the rules, but yeah, they're allowed.

Runner up prize added. One day, they will get bigger, I promise.

Just seems like shitty runner-up prizes. I'd like to be able to give them, say, half of the prize value. I want the tiny prizes to be for special mentions who didn't quite make it.

Not many entries so far. You've got a good chance to win it.

Runner-up: Tzell
Odds of winning were 1 in 17.
Special mentions:
Incog: Came out of nowhere (because I didn't know who the hell he was since he didn't sign his entry until just now) to almost snatch second place
Inferno955: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
And now, explanations.
This has been a long, long, long time coming. At the start, it was, admittedly, laziness (something I'd anticipated with the "lol, as if" in the title). I procrastinate a lot. Part of my ADD, I guess. Still, that alone wouldn't have held me off from this for so long. At some point, pretty much every part of my life got infected by the Will Smith virus and got flip-turned upsidedown including, but not limited to, and in no particular order: the death of a pet that hit me incredibly hard, financial troubles that made me hesitate as I wouldn't be able to actually give the winner a game, general hard-hitting depression, trying desperately to keep up with a Support I couldn't actually deal with and potentially suicidal thoughts. On top of that, I have various personality quirks that told me, at the same time, a) "they've been this long, they can wait a little longer", b) "urgh, I've put it off for too long, what's the fucking point?" and c) "they've been waiting for too long already, fucking get it out, you incompetent dick." C actually won a couple of times, but not in a way that was good. This is actually the third(? I can't remember) time these have been uploaded, but I took them down the previous two times because I rushed it, I didn't take the time to properly look things over, I didn't really give a shit about it. I didn't say it partly because, at the time, you guys were spamming it wondering if it would be ever put up and I wanted to see if you'd notice and also because, like I said, I didn't really give a shit, so I didn't want you to notice. But, uploading today, I found that you may not have seen those even if I had pointed it out. Apparently wikispaces wanted me to verify my account with real money and made my wiki private by default until I had. I have no idea when this happened. What the fuck, wikispaces?
Anyway, it's been too fucking long. That said, the prizes have now changed. First place is now $41.04, the runner up prize is now $20.52 plus the Indie Royale April's Fool's Bundle. The special mentions plus the runner up (if already own the IR bundle) will get a bundle of their choice. Now, remember those financial difficulties? Yeah, I may not actually be able to live up to this for a while, but it's the only way I can think of to make it up to you guys. Order of priority is from first place to special mentions.
;_;
Sorry,
Jade
The pretty awful wiki for the entries (gets updated after winners are announced).
