From the Steam announcement:
Input: "Except I've seen a handful of giveaways in the last few days that were against the rules and that went reported but were never acted upon. Looking at the list of recent giveaways also shows quite a few private and group giveaways that violate the Indie Bundle rules but those can't be reported. Suggestions: 1) you sort them by highest number of reports to lowest, but don't forget to check those that are lowest; and 2) you should regularly check the 'Latest Received Gifts' list because most of us can't report those."
Response: You can report Private or Group giveaways all the same, Chumly. I monitor the Reported list tightly and lately people have been not been reporting anything at all. I check the lowest as well, obviously, thanks for that suggestion, and I also feverishly check all newly submitted giveaways. Imagine sifting through over 100 giveaways one at a time. If you've seen so many of these giveaways, why aren't you 1) Reporting them 2) Submitting tickets in Support 3) Notice they are all probably already removed.

I've been using the Design Changes addon for this site for so long, I forgot what it looks like normally. I'll send the request over to cg, that could definitely help. Thanks for the reminder.
This is what the reported button looks like for me because of that Chrome extension.
Edit: Looks like the OP deleted the thread from the forums, so I can't link it.

Yeah, I actually didn't know there was a "Report Giveaway" button until now. It's very easy to miss.

Do creators of the giveaways get notices as to why their giveaway was removed? At the moment, I try and post comments in 'illegal' giveaways with links to the rules (ex: Gish giveaway thread or the FAQ), hoping that someone will benefit from it. =\

Members receive no notification that their giveaways have been removed. I try to friend them over Steam or wait until they respond to comments in their giveaway before taking any other action. Due to the overwhelming amount of Gish submitted lately, this has not been possible for every individual.

Careful when pressing the elevator close door button, sometimes it doesn't work and other times its like guillotine.
Honestly, I'm more worried about pressing the big red button that's next to it.

You do know that pressing the "close door" button on an elevator actually does something, right? It halves whatever the default delay time is on the door.
People only think it does nothing because they press the damn thing 5 times. Each time you do it, you add one second longer to the door not closing. Safety measures.
The more you know.

Greetings community,
I've seen many users express doubt over what happens when you click the Report button. Please note that this button isn't a "close door" button on an elevator. It does function!
Reporting is an invaluable tool for moderators. We are notified of each reported giveaway and they are sorted by highest amount of reports to lowest. We typically check what's being reported first thing when we're online.
If you'd like to help out more, especially you champions of the suspected, click the report button. :)
-regards
