Well, It's not really a puzzle, more like a quiz.

(Updated puzzle below)

Standard rules. No sharing of hints, answers and links in the comments. It's easy anyways. :D

Also, don't share what game is being given away. I want everyone to be surprised by the end. :D

Finally, please bump when you solved it. Be nice and let others in the forums know that this is happening. :D

Giveaway ends 3 days after the thread started. That's midnight, January 7th, GMT +8. No contributor value needed.

Good luck!

UPDATE: I've compiled a new itstoohard puzzle with updated questions and added variety to accepted answers below. The stories are the same but should make you feel less like you're beating the system and more like just simply understanding the stories. Sorry for the confusion with the first one.

It's (not) too hard! (Anymore!)

UPDATE 2: Giveaway over!

ANSWERS:

  1. Robert's wife/His Wife

  2. A gun/A pistol/A .44-caliber pistol

  3. The Laptop/The Computer

  4. A Wikipedia page/A Wikipedia entry

  5. A Movie/A Film/A Motion Picture

Solved everything but #1. Maybe it's because I don't know how divorce papers work? But it shouldn't be that complicated...

Not a single one of the names work for #1... Strange

I too am having trouble with this one, all the rest made sense but #1 doesn't....it's asking for a who, and none of the names work, tried a few generic responses and they didn't work either. All the others took no more than 2 guesses, I'm on guess 13 on #1 and still don't have a clue what it's really asking for.

Ooops! Looks like I made a mistake. lol

Consider Tony as Robert. For that matter, in question 5, Harold is also Christopher. Is there a way to edit those questions?

If the answer contains his name, I still don't know which name to put.

Lucky guess I say, I tried every name in the story, every legal term pertaining to people in a divorce, etc, and none of them are correct.

Those who did get it, is it one word or, like many of the others, multiple words?

I got number five, but can we have any hints? I mean, are the answers more than one word, how would we go about solving them? I don't know how divorce papers work, I don't get how you measure a man's success... What am I supposed to do!?

EDIT: I got #4...

EDIT 2: Got #2...

Question 1 seems to have a lot of people stumped, but Question 5 is also giving me grief. There is no indication of how long the answer is, or how specific it needs to be. I know the answer, but I can't seem to nail down how you worded it.

Too much to read... i'm not going to start trying xD

I think the only people who have solved #1 had some inside info.....that or I'm way over-thinking the answer, I've tried just about every term that refers to a person and not one has worked. Either the wording of the answer is in a very specific way that would require a lucky guess (in that case, it's not really a quiz, but "Guess how the creator of the quiz would word his answer") or the question of "Who" isn't referring to a person.

I appreciate the giveaways, but a quiz on reading comprehension should be solvable by reading the passage with no other knowledge required.

EDIT: Okay, just got the answer, but it really doesn't fit......the term that is the answer has a different definition than how it is used in the question of who the papers are being given to.

It does make perfect sense actually, altough I was stumped on the question because of the wording of my answer.
