Seems like a nice game, but I find it a little overpriced.

So ?

The game requires 1000 MBs while it have 90 MBs itself, guess that what DeepWolf wanted you to notice.
That seems like ... serious memory leeks if that would be the case, but dunno, probably just 1 GB looks better on requirements.

That doesn't mean it has a memory leak, it makes perfect sense. It could just mean they have efficient coding. Look up Kkrieger, it's a 96KB game the demo scene released awhile back. It will use well over a gig of memory while running.

Kkrieger, is an extreme example but the same is true of any game. If it's programmed well you shouldn't have to store everything, instead you store directions on how to do things and let them be created on the fly which means more memory usage than HD space. Storing everything on the HD is the lazy way to do it.

Memory leaks don't work like that. They tend to cause memory usage to grow over time, not to stabilise at a higher level.

Most of the memory usage would come from simulating a world, rather than just from mirroring art assets. A gigabyte sounds reasonable.

Aye, I am aware of how they work. I just suggested dumb thing without giving it much thought. I shall accept the spanking like a man. Or a cat at least.

First thing that came to mind while looking at screen shots was Populous.
But yeah, too pricey. And we can't try it out, so just gonna kill tab with it. Maybe will stumble upon it again on some youtube review.

I'd rather poke myself in the eye and play Zeus or Simcity than pay 10€ for this piece of shit.
Yes, I called it shit. Because it is.

Care to explain? The game seems very interesting and I may buy it when is 50%off, but if you have valid reasons to say that it is that bad I may reconsider.

To me it looks like a cross between Majesty and Minecraft. Doesn't look like a game I'd pay that much money for though.

87 hours playing "And yet it moves" and you complain about looks? It says it's a fresh new take on the genre, not because it has ub3r 1337 gr4f1x.

Wat?! Wasn't it still in alpha? That game looked far from complete last I played it. Taking a look at the Steam page, it still seems to have those same place-holder graphics.

Edit: Oh, I think it really is still in alpha. Released too soon, then. People are just going to dismiss it now.
