The DLC does very little....
Also the community was fine when I played.

There were costume dlcs, calling card dlcs (purely cosmetic) and xp boosts. All weapons and items were unlocked as you levelled up. Now there are 9 packs for all the weapons, items and gadgets, considering that starter packs are cheap as hell and game is quite balanced with weapons, it's a nice deal.

Probably because they are changing the page to free to play at the moment.

Ok, just appeared in the library of my account:
Gotham City Impostors
Gotham City Impostors: Free to Play
Fantastic, two repeated games in the account. The paid game that will have little users and play free that will have many users. That irony

I liked it but its starting to die hard.
As long as I dont have to deal with many if any pay to win elements I support this move. I would hope this be true for those who purchased it.
Edit: Appeared in my games, seems its gonna have 402 achievements also...O_o, I dont remember it having any but I might be mistaken.

Yeah the lobby system and lack of decent matchmaking was what let it down, it did improve though. Sometimes it was 1 guy vs a full team, generally uneven numbers and a couple of times I was in my own match (I won). I even remember objectives not loading!
I really did love it though despite those teething issues!

no tbh never did, i didnt see much in the trailer that indicated that, but that does sound cool i guess. on a side note i was never the biggest batman fan but the quality of batman:Arkham asylum is not to be denied, i love that game! and i imagine arkham city

Actually, Valve made it impossible to buy during the week of the Uber Update (they billed it as a free week), and the "Add to Cart" and "In Cart" buttons were replaced with "Install Game" just like ALien Swarm and the Cat and the Coup (two other free games) and removed it from everybody's cart who had it. On the actual release of the Uber Update, they labeled as free to play, therefore this story is impossible.

Your point? You are not forced to spend money to play.

I just saw a starter pack of the game in the Steam page where it says Free to Play
Presumably the game will be Free to Play but for those who bought the game and the DLC, what will happen?
Besides that, the game uses GFWL*, did you take off? (would be appropriate)
Sorry for my English xD
*GFWL = Games for Windows Live
