Problems Logging into Steamtrades

Try using this link to log in www.steamtrades.com/?login instead of clicking the button, I forgot I had similar issue like a year ago or more and cutting the link from 'login' button on ST helped.

edit: why do I keep trying to log in at bad times? Steam seems to be down, which is probably why this is happening.

If so, I know it may sound stupid but click multiple times fast (5-7) on the button that confirms the Steam account you're currently logged in is yours. Yes, it sounds stupid but it works. No idea why, it just does. Guess you're sending so many requests in short span of time to the server that one eventually works.

trying from two hours.. same problem :(

clearing cookies, cache didnt work, using the short url cutting at login.. didnt work.. dont know how to log in.

Cant manual sync steamgifts account aswell. says steamprofile is not public. its already public

I think it's a problem with this site and Steamtrades. I say that because when I was experiencing the same issue I had zero problems logging in with my Steam account via OpenID on some other sites.
