Agreed. To anyone who complains about the Mannconomy: it is not a necessary part of the game. I have not spent any money at all on TF2 (except purchasing it way back in the day), and still consider it one of the best games I own.

It is good but it is definitely not free to play, once you ding 20 you have to pay for new areas to level, so in the end, you pay more than if you had a suscription to wow

The controls for it are absolutely horrid. The game might be decent, but I've never bothered to get past the introduction to it because of the controls.

As someone who used to play it back in the day, I don't recommend treating LotRO as an F2P game. The F2P part is more like a demo for the "real" game, and you will be missing a LOT unless you spend a good amount of money on the game. And sureyou can grind points to unlock content, but by the time you've done enough grinding to unlock everything you'll need to play the entire game you'll be so sick and tired of the game you won't even touch the content you've unlocked. Unless you happen to fucking love grinding I guess, in which case there are probably better games for you anyway.

It's a pretty ok MMO and especially if you're a fan of the LotR universe and don't mind that the game isn't very original in any way, it's certainly good for a load of fun. Just don't expect the game to be really F2P.

But people said its not free to play.

Every game in the F2P section has a pay component. All of them. ALL OF THEM. That's almost a requirement for being in that section, brightly emblazoned with "IT'S FREE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR"--the subtext "...but if you wanna just hand me your wallet, bud, you'll have an easier time of it than those other cheap chumps." If you want a 100% free, not-even-the-possibility-or-temptation-to-pay-in game, on STEAM, then you're going to want to search for "D.I.P.R.I.P. Warm Up" and get some friends to do the same.

While Super Monday Night Combat has a cash shop, all the items you can buy with real cash are cosmetic with no effect on gameplay. Also the game is really fun once you get past the steep learning curve.

Indeed. Once you learn how to play it properly, it is a ton of fun. It took me away from TF2.

I was playing with 2 friends and got bored the 3rd day.

Fallen Earth is terrible.

It's a bunch of good ideas stuck in a really bad game.
