In my opinion Mount And Blade Warband is the best of the series :)
But if you are going to buy the dlc as well,you better buy the complete pack..it is cheaper

Warband is the best. It's a standalone exp to M&B, and With Fire & Sword just isn't as fun.

Plus there's a ton of mods for Warband for when vanilla starts to get boring.

I'd suggest definitely Mount&Blade:Warband

Warband is probably the best. I'd highly recommend the complete pack though, the Napoleonic Wars DLC is quite fun.

I'd love to get the complete pack, but i'm tight on funds because i'm currently recovering from extensive spine surgery :( . as much as the pain sucks, not being able to do anything , and not being able to have a few extra bucks to get something that will allow me to do 'something' sucks just as bad! heh
