What steam skin do you use?

Simples. Download the skin files (use your discretion as to where you download from)
Unzip if necessary, put files into (steam install path)\Steam\skins folder.
Steam client -> Settings -> Interface tab -> drop down list select the skin. -> restart steam. Ta-dah. Done.

me too. I've tried 3 or 4 skins THEY ALL LOOK ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME AS VANILLA. so why bother? if there was something totally different, or hell, something that all it did was increase most of the font sizes, id probably go for it.

Dashie is best pony, but its skin is too bright for a night soul like me. Protip: You can install the skin without installing that awful (IMHO) font (theoretically, you can put any font you want)

I was using the default skin because most custom ones I've seen (mostly on SPUF) are garish and incoherent. But surprisingly I've never seen PixelVision before, and thanks to your post I'm using it now. :D

I'm using PixelVision now. I'm used to Default, but I like some ideas PixelVision uses. See if it will grow with me and whatnot. The only thing I don't like about it is in the library section, the name of the game, the play button, the contributions and the game hub buttons are off-center.
