Alright, let's get started. Now... "What is the-" Huh...
;)

I know it sure works better than Steam Community.

Lel at least until there's some bruteforcy quiz and prospective solvers ddos the site with bots.
On that note, for the love of all what's good and pure I hope I made myself clear enough that you can't just guess the answer to the quiz and Bruce Forte won't help here. It's a puzzle not a quiz and there's a definite way to solve it. Random guessing is not it.

Whaat where did this leaderboard thing come from.

I love it! It gives extra motivation for example for group puzzles :> The problem with these lately is bunch of ppl waiting till event ends to just freely leech as many answers as possible, I tried to motivate via special items and non-steam keydrops, but it didn't work to well, but what most ppl want are steam games. With leaderboards you can make a big group puzzle, but also add "additional" contest - ppl who first solve stage, or who get the most stages solved first gets invitation to bonus GAs :>

Yup that's a nice idea.
On another note, I know your group puzzles aren't actual ITH group puzzles, but individual puzzles just allowed to be solved as a group, I wonder though what happens with leaderboard on actual ITH group puzzle. I guess it just doesn't have one. Gotta ask Jexel, seems like I don't know all the ITH features myself :D (or I could just well, try it out for myself...) That leaderboard in general surprised me as well, but it was a nice surprise.

Oi no no, that's definitely not it x) I think I'm being pretty straightforward here and yeah, if you had understood what to do you would have solved it. Sadly for some reason it's not apparent even for some folks who should really get it without even trying, luckily not for all, so I do have some solvers. Just really expected more heh.

This indeed should be easy, at least for selected people. And indeed for some it was. But apparently not for all whom I'd expect. I won't be providing any hints for now though, while the giveaway is open, as there are enough solvers who did without them, but once it's over I'll probably drop something not to discourage later on the completion of the series. But again, won't be providing complete explanation until my mini series is over.

Can I ask for clarification? Do you mean what general type of GUID?

It's the final 24 hours, just FYI. I did not expect this to turn out so hard on people, but I stand by it. You gotta learn not to try random ass stuff if I haven't mentioned it in any fashion, maybe that's something that works for other puzzles and is even expected by puzzle makers but tends not to work on mine.

For people who don't know how itstoohard works and are for some reason unwilling to learn it, or even if they should know it and for some reason are missing the point, I have released a non-puzzle "puzzle" which is considered next one in my miniseries. It does use itstoohard and like I say it's next one in the miniseries, but otherwise is unrelated, it's pretty much just a straight up math quiz :)
Meanwhile giveaway for this puzzle over here is still open for ~9 hours, but actually again, please consider the entire puzzle open even after giveaway is over.

Eh shit I took an uncontrolled nap and wasn't able to bump this once more before the giveaway ended.
Anyway yes, the giveaway has ended by now, but as I said, please consider this puzzle still active and do not discuss the solution etc etc because I will use this later.
However, as kind of hints for prospective completionists for that miniseries, I'll point out some things now that really should have been obvious but for some reason weren't.
Per title, all that I require on this puzzle is familiarity with itstoohard features (and maybe ability to connect some simple dots). Nothing else, really.
If you've tried sites and stuff like pastebin, imgur, steamcommunity, youtube, any random url shortener, any random decoding.. Why? Because other puzzles in past expected you to come up with something like that out of thin air, perchance? Well, not this puzzle.
I am seriously especially dissapointed with certain people whom I'd expect to know the itstoohard feature I have exploited for this puzzle, yet did not solve it. Luckily some of them were able to solve this within seconds even, and even practically complain it was too easy. Others, who really did not know that itstoohard works that way, would not be able to solve the puzzle until they learnt better, but everybody is completely free to explore the site's features and try stuff for themselves to see how it works.
Also, the question on the quiz is literally what it says. I have generated a GUID solely for this puzzle and it is the one and only answer there. The actual GUID.
If you don't know what a GUID is, it's basically a very large number (128 bit) generated with the intent of being globally unique, as in it should be extremely, extremely unlikely anyone else in the world has generated the same GUID for themselves. Though technically not necessarily random, for purposes of this puzzle it's practically just a huge random number, and therefore, even like I did say among comments, you are not able to just randomly guess it, not in a billion years.
Yet perhaps I should also note that the itstoohard quiz is not a red herring. You really do need it in order to enter the giveaway, the giveaway code is not posted anywhere else.

Well, do you? Let's find out, shall we?
Puzzle: KJRaOcNd
Ends 2014 JAN 06 2000 ZULU (ENDED)
It's not a group puzzle. Solve on your own. Do not ask for help, do not give help. Obviously do not share the giveaway. Reward is nothing fancy, if you think doing puzzles is a waste of time then just don't do them, okay?
Actually, please don't share how to solve this even after it's done. I am planning to do a few puzzle giveaways with some smaller stuff as rewards and require solving them all for a bigger reward. So yes, no explanations from me for a while until I decided I made enough puzzles. This is the first one for the series. Haven't decided yet how many I'm going for, or how often, but probably not for longer than till March.
CV for this one - 20.14 to celebrate the new year of Gregorian calendar!
The giveaway has ended, but puzzle still to be considered active!
