Because people are allowed to have opinions. If Half-Life isn't their type of game, they shouldn't be punished.

As far as gifting games on here is concerned Half Life is just one of many Steam games.

Personally I've found that it doesn't make much sense to spend my money on buying games I'll never play. I have no interest whatsoever in shooters so playing Half Life appeals to me about as much as watching paint dry.

Someone JUST gifted it to me for Christmas... you don't have to won half-life to want to play games on Steam... Valve operates Steam, and they allow other games on it for a reason.
