Any idea about Steam Summer Sale? A friend of mine says it's gonna be in late June. Another guy said it's gonna be in July. So, when is it really gonna be? Also, I wanted to buy CS 1.6 on sale. So, should I buy it directly in sale via my credit card, or should I use Steam Wallet? I haven't used it before. I am not from EU. I just want to know if there are some hidden taxes and shit for using the wallet. Thanks.

I have my sources. Specifically, there was a leaked screenshot of a conversation between developers and Valve employees in a private messageboard. The Valve employees told the devs to have their stuff for the sale ready by the 13th, which is a Friday. These big sales always start on Thursdays. The following Thursday is the 19th. I'm just putting two and two together here.

Sounds plausible, even if those leaked screenshots can be fabricated.

I guess it's time to lurk around COMING SOON tab on Steam and look for some hole without releases :) .

It's called a summer sale, so it will happen after June 21st. Last year it was around July 10th.

Winter Sale 2013 started 19th December 2013, so before Calendar Winter. Remember, you talk about Valve. In CSGO, they still drop Winter Cases :)
