Is calling out against the rules in Steam Trades?

Story behind it: I offered something, he call me names, threatened to -rep me, etc. I kept my calm. He deleted the whole conversation.. I would post it if I could.

EDIT: Here is my reply thing, what he said. Unfortunatly, most of waht i said is cut off. I will try to put in what i said, based on memory and the picture. In my opinion, I wasnt as rude as he was, but thats an opinion.

What he said to me

I said,"I did read. A. You said "offers" B. You said "have games, wallet, cards, marketable items, anything, etc" azon cards are etc and anything. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO DIDN'T READ."

He replied, "I wanted that game, didn't offer it for trade. Even if you had it I wouldn't have paid 2$ for it, I bought the bundle myself for 1$ and got the other games as well. Go shark someone else you starving kid"

I said, "No wonder you have -2 rep, you are so rude. There is so much wrong in that freaking sentence. If you have not noticed yet, I was OFFERING the game not REQUESTING it."

He replied, "No wonder you're unable to express yourself. You could've just made it clear by asking if I have amazon credit or whatever, you don't know how many idiots came here without reading I WANT these games and not selling them, making offers for them, but deleted their comments after. And if you would've read my -2 rep you would understand one scammed me and the other -rep me only for a discussion like this on the forums. Do both ourselves a favor and delete your first comment so we can pretend nothing happened."

I said, " I did read your reps. I did offer. I did read. I don't have to delete my comment"

He replied, "Kid are you even allowed on the internet? What would your folks say when they'll hear about this? I think you got homework to do or something, stop being such annoying brat You don't have to delete your comment, do you want -rep also? Do you want my 500 friends to go on your youtube channel and make fun of your girly voice? Go back to school boy."

I said, "Yes I am allowed. If you have read the FAqs, you would know that you can't -rep without actually making the trade and I can easily go to support and report you. Also, FYI, I AM a girl. I don't care if you make fun of my voice, because it is natural, idiot."

Then he just deleted everything and changed the thread.
