Bump thread button. [Suggestion]

I really don't think this is that much needed, but yeah it wouldn't hurt, I guess

Ah yes, have exactly same problems. Sometimes you have to like wait some time to reply someone not to "lose opportunity" for a bump :3 'Cause just posting w/e feels silly. But I could at least alwasy post an update what's going on with the puzzle. Still, very nice idea.

Just make a post that says "bump".
Yes your button-idea would be helpful, but it seems like a lot of work to make something that's only marginally easier to do than what we can do now.

Even with the "cooldown" I can see some users bumping their threads for no reason at all. It makes sense in the SteamTrades corner, but here nope.

I wouldn't mind having that.

The suggestion is nice, might I add a suggestion to it? If the thread is popular, a bump every hour. If not, 1 at least every 2 hours.

Maybe just separate "Puzzle Giveaways" section or something? Not finished puzzles are open, rest is closed. Simple as hell and very comfortable to use.
No bumping needed then, all "you can still win something here" puzzles would be open.

Bumping is rarely a good idea. It's bad enough when people post "bump" to do it. Why make it easier?

I'd vote for having separate sub-forums for well-defined types of posts. A puzzles forum would seem to make sense given the number of puzzle posts we have, and the need to make them findable.

I don't see the point. A valid discussion will stay active as long as people participate. Bumping just feels like it's forcing people to talk about it for the sake of. Let the thread die if it's its time.

I prefer the long version, especially the cool down idea. But I think you can just simply reply to one of your comments until there's no new comments to reply - that means it's the end.

I suggested a Favorite button before, seems most of the members not concern about it. So let it rot there. :P
