The Story of your nickname :)

My girlfriend's name is Roberta but i call her "Ro" and "Bloody" because she loved the song "Bloody Sunday" from U2.

"Ten" as in one of my old nicknames, which i hardly ever used.
"Finn" as in "FINN CRISP", lol. Nice bread.
"Vo" as in the nickname mentioned above.
This is a bit more complicated than i thought.

About my nickname in steam- i tried to come up with something fantasy-like, because phrase "tennfinnvo has defeated Jace Beleren" looked kinda lame. So i came up with "Naver Edelcast".
"Naver" is "Revan" backwards. Kotor is freaking awesome, btw. First part.
"Edel" as in "Edelweiss". I like this word.
"Cast" is pretty much a random ending.

Don't know how the Zomby part came to be but I started using that nickname in games when I was a teenager. (I'm 38, so that was a very long time ago) The "2D" part came from college where people started calling me that because I was so skinny that they said I couldn't possibly occupy 3 dimensions. As the internet grew larger and "Zomby" started to be taken on various websites I simply added the 2D to it in order to differentiate myself.

I had to think of a name in a short amount of time, I originally came up with Shane6169 but then I was like, too many numbers so I decided, I'll keep my name in it, so I just stuck with Shane for a while. Then one of my friends kept saying, "Killer move there, Shane." every time I killed him in Quake 3 Arena. So Killershane popped up in my head.

Ant for Antonio (Spanish name in English is Anthony or something) and 12, my age when I register in my first page. I'm very happy with my name :)

Well my nickname was a random given name in LOTRO :)

My nickname is the french word for this (without the "e"). I picked this nickname when I was like 10 years old, and I did not even like mussels back then.

All started with names of anime/cartoons channels. Somehow it all created Anicetix.

I used to have a different nickname (in fact, I've worn out quite a few over time), but I first started using "Aargh" (or "Aargh!" when possible) when trying to sign up for something and all of my usual names were already taken. Since I hate adding numbers and shit to the name just to make it unique, I just started coming up with new names, but every single one was already taken. It got kinda frustrating so I entered "AARGH" (more or less as a joke), and it was accepted. After a while I decided to stick with it, and now I use it almost everywhere.

now my nickname is JonnyMuff. Jonny is the name of Jonny Greenwood - my favorite musician. Muff - came from Big Muff guitar pedal =)

I bought Battlefield 2 and I had to come up with something, I was having troubles with choosing a right name so I pick FinnishForce and since then I have used it everywhere. It's rarely already in use, which is nice :)

I just thought this name up as something to use for an MMO character, I think it was intended to be some sort of elfy name. I made it in '04, it's stuck everywhere ever since.

pain+man. kinda easy and boring... i was quite in a dark mood when i decided to use this, so im keeping it to remember bad and good moments after the bad moments

I chose Incognito Mosquito because it made me laugh when I thought of it some 10 years ago. I didn't actually use it for a couple years after that because I already had a nickname. After I got tired of that one, I remembered Incognito Mosquito and it stuck. Unfortunately it's just over the standard 16 characters most websites give you for a SN, so I shorten it to Incog.

Back in 99', I did a LOT of soul searching. I wasn't quite sure who I was anymore. I had recently lost my first job at a hospital in Colorado, along with my girlfriend. My dentist-father no longer wanted to see me, because i didnt want to be a dentist. I no longer knew who I was. I was lost, the old me was gone. I did a lot of traveling, to cure me of my woes, and try and leave my past behind. One day, while walking the side of the Nile river, I noticed something. A very big star. That star told me I was RealDrAwesome.
