What are your favorite anime?

I'm all across the board.

• Some horror (if Another counts as horror, which I feel like it does), but mainly action and comedy, but I can also do slice of life of random supernatural demon stuff

Favorite series of all time include DBZ, Yuyu Hakusho, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Hunter x Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Negima!, Gintama, Naruto Shippuden (you know, the non filler stuff that's actually relevant), and Shakugan no Shana (seasons 1 and 2). I know I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff. Like I said, I'm all over the place. It all depends on storytelling, likable characters, good animation, and cool soundtracks.

Im not watching much anime, but i found it last summer and i can say only one- EPIC!

• Mushi-Shi

• GTO [Its Highschool HOWEVER its much different from the norm its about a bad ass ex-biker gang member becoming a teacher and its funny as hell]

• I recently started Burst Angel and its pretty damn good.

• Puella Magica Madoka is also amazing.

Atm Sword Art Online is my favorite. The plot is awesome, the fights are great..

but overall, Gundam 00 is still unbeatable.

I second any motion for Full Metal Alchemist (and FMA: Brotherhood). After that, I'd say Silver Fang (and possibly the continuation Ginga Legend Weed)

I am enjoying Gundam Age right now, much more adult oriented then expected, not bad.

I don't watch a lot but my favorite is the Yu-Gi-Oh series.

Naruto, DBZ, DBGT, Yugiho and 5D's, Pokemon, Medabots and maybe the 1st series of Beyblades.

Cowboy Bebop, Initial D, Trigun, Evangelion.

• Baccano! [Fantastic series its has a more Cowboy Bebop feel but is done by the people who made Durarara so its an on going story from episode to episode with recaps done the same way they are in Durarara but in my opinion this one is much better done]

• Black Butler [Very Hellsing-ish]

• Sword Art Online [I haven't finished this one but its awesome from what I've seen]

• Future Diary/Mirai Nikki [Also haven't finished this one yet]

EDIT: I see that you've seen Baccano and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei(which I was also gonna suggest) you've got really good taste.

For me it's Kara no Kyokai. Seriously one of the best anime ever seen, try it. It has only seven episodes, but they are pretty long. As for genre, well, many people simply put Kara somewhere near the Elfen lied for both genre and quality. But for me it was even better with a more interesting plot and character development ^_^
