If you actually look through all the posts instead of inexplicably hanging out here on the back page, you'll see this thread has been more-or-less continuously active for well over a year now. All threads that remain inactive for more than a few months without being closed by staff or the OP get closed by the automatic timeout or by me when I do periodic cleanups. You can't find inactive threads that old.

Personally I just can't get tired of listening to Bill Evans. One of the greatest geniuses in jazz. Like Miles said he played the piano as it was meant to be played. Nice choices there xarabas. I would add the entire Kind of Blue album. Pure magic was made when those guys joined together that day. Cheers for opening up a decent thread mate!
Edit: If it comes up to that I'll keep bumping this thread so the site's forum actually sees some non garbage discussion at its top.

In my not so humble opinion Kenny Burrell's album Midnight Blue is one of the greatest jazz albums ever recorded. That being said my favorite track would be Gee Baby Ain't I Good to You. Other notable mentions would be John Pizzarelli's After You've Gone, and just about anything by Turtle Island String Quartet (TISQ).

This thread is attempting to be classy and to have good taste as xarabas so well pointed out. It seems that this community is lacking a lot on that these days. So none of that please..

Who is this Music

Can the ocean be described?
Fathomless music
body of all that is
Live everlastingly.
